Assuming this is the end (and honestly I do not think it is) did anyone consider the idea that this wasn't the original ending, but that they wanted to rush the series finale after real-life slender-fueled murders started showing up on the news and they started getting bad PR?

Considering they still ended it on Alex's murder, I really don't think that's what happened.

Agreed. I'm still kind of shocked they didn't refilm that at all, to be honest.

I still think 86-87 are chronologically in order. Also trosephim said that the stabbings didn't affect what they had planned on doing.

Which is good, because the media sensationalism is fucking stupid and doesn't deserve to be taken seriously.

Not to mention from the articles I've seen, the media have been better about this than usual. And from what I've gathered, almost no one seems to be buying the idea that TSM fiction somehow is responsible either.

Which could just mean I'm out of touch, I suppose...

Location: The Ark, obviously. Or Michigan. Not Sure.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this, but as Tim is coughing, Jessica seems to look up past him / behind him.

Also, it is implied that Jessica knows the predicament that Jay was in because Tim told her.

Also, when he says "the appointment times didn't match up" he is talking about how in Entry 72, he gave Jay instructions to go to a doctor.

But Jay refused. If Jay had gone to the doctor like Tim told him to he probably would've seen Jessica. She said "I want to meet him since you said he goes here too." Unfortunately, Jay simply watched the tape and went into the forest looking for Jessica, when she was going to a doctor's office and living comfortably and safe somewhere else.

Not really. Some things are just too much of a stretch even for major news outlets. They tried a few sensationalist articles, but looking at the comments sections, nobody was really biting, so they seem to have given up on it.

I just want to point out we all should have predicted Tim was hiding something, especially when you consider

that he SAID he had a secret.

-Tim kills Joseph in Jazz

-Tim has a secret in Grapefruit

-Joseph contemplates shooting Troy in Paper

-...and kills him for real in Trip

I feel like there is some deeper significance to these parallels.

And Joseph was so upset with Troy leaving (moving out), that he made a fuzz until Tim (Masky) reappeared (#35)

Actually Joseph in that video was a metaphor for all of us. "MH fans, dear boys, Jay may be dead, but I'm the new protagonist!" And we were like "All right!"
