And at least they could do a proper ending, and not turning it in that depressive bucket of BS that EMH turned to be.

Random moment of EMH snark: I dearly, dearly wish people hadn't told guy-that-plays-Evan that his HABIT act was anything other than cartoonishly ridiculous. Worst character in the series, plus a HABIT cameo in any other slendervlog usually means it's well and truly jumped the shark too.

I'm going to be extremely busy over the next couple of days and will probably contribute to the odd topic here or there, but this is my formal farewell. My intrest in other Slendy series has kind of waned over time, so you guys probably won't see me in much discussion on the Slender Mythos side of things.
It's been great talking and theorising things over with you guys. I'll be back for the DVD and movie talk, of course, but for now, well, this is farewell
I'd just also like to say just how warm and accepting this fandom has been for people like me (for the most part), it's not something you see everyday online.

And EMH history is dragging, to a point I can't even bore myself to see it. MH is the last slenderstuff I am paying attention to.

That goes for me as well. I was hugely active during Season 2, and maybe the first third of Season 3. After that it was a massive struggle to stay interested. In fact, of my 600-odd posts only about five have come in the last calendar year. I don't follow any of the other Slender-series, so this is my official goodbye. It's been fun everyone.

Yeah, there's a couple of series I am keeping an eye on but I suspect the next really sensational YT horror series isn't going to be Yet Another Slendervlog, it'll be something that's a real departure from the format.

Real villains never say anything & have no clear motivation.
Yep. I broke my unspoken commitment to stay positive in this thread.

I'm really glad it ended this way
It's been such a great time we all had together and I thank you all for it.
Shoutouts to Cyan507, Dhawk, gennerx, geneaux, lithp for all the contributions that changed my mind about most things and for helping me see things I couldn't. And for worthwhile insights that made my time here the best ever

To be fair, HABIT has the opposite problem: he never fucking shuts up and what clear motivations he has are kind of underwhelming and banal.

Hoody could have literally been a disembodied hoody & it would have made at least as much sense.

I think HABIT is a well-written and well-played villain. I'm particularly impressed that Evan (the actor who plays Evan) is able to do all of HABIT's long speeches complete with vocal range and body language all in one extended take like he does each time. It's a lot of material to get through without any cuts to break it up.

I have been lurking for a long time and made an account a couple of days ago, actually. I just wanted to say that It was a nice run, but everything has to come to an end. It's a weird feeling knowing that something I obsessed so much over is over now. Thank you for awesome theories, even if they didnt turn out to be correct.

I think Evan himself is a phenomenal actor. But I do think HABIT shoulda stayed in EMH. Thought the TribeTwelve crossover was kinda lame. I really lost interest in EMH with "Lexi," I think the episode's name is.

Yeah, it was Lexi. Lexi being Vinny's love interest who we never saw and I had forgotten about up until that point. They definitely tell more than they show on Everymanhybrid, which shouldn't be their go-to method for conveying information to the viewer. As for the crossovers, I'm reserving judgment until the shows are all over, so as to see how they all play off of each other in the long run.
