Clearly, Hoody couldn't have posted Null as they were occupied in that timeframe.
So, there must be a third user of the Totheark alias. That person would be Skully, who may still be at large for all we know.

I always thought that skully was just masky with a different photo over his mouth. You know how sometimes there are a couple of images mashed together i think that was the case here.

Maybe Skully is a different monster that accidentally got caught on film.
Someone needs to make a spinoff series asap!

On it. Just not going to mention or reference Marble Hornets in any way.

Give him a different name....and tentacles....that makes him an original character.

Troy explains skully.

Very interesting - they originally threw him in there just as something they could perhaps later use, and at one point they were going to have that as Jay's 'masky' state which he had lapsed into unknowingly during S1.

Woww I really wish they had made that Jay's "masky" state---Masky was always more frightening to me than the Operator somehow, even after we found out it was Tim. That would have really made things creepier, knowing Jay also slipped into a masked persona.

Huh. Mystery solved. Were there any other big questions they answered therein?

Shame they cut that. There was such good foreshadowing towards Jay having a masky state too.

There weren't really any other answers to the big questions. They pointedly avoided answering what the Ark is, and who ToTheArk was. The latter is an answer in a sense - they wanted TTA's identity to be ambiguous at the end. When asked what the Ark is, Troy dismissively said 'iunno' - they were rushed for time and he was joking, but it still might mean he sees it as irrelevant. Also importantly, Tim spoke a bit on the fact that The Operator should not be taken as a character - more an infinite force which drives the action. The focus of the narrative was the characters who were affected by The Operator, not the nature of The Operator itself. Thus, they saw it as unnecessary and perhaps even detrimental to explain its motives, or give it any sort of weakness.
Definitely not a big question, but they did confirm that Rocky died, and said Tim's reference to dead animals turning up on Alex's lawn in Entry #15 was supposed to hint at this.
They mentioned that Jay dying was planned since early S2, though it's unlikely that him dying so early on in the end-game was the plan at the time. The idea of Tim taking over as protagonist for the final entries wouldn't have come about until they had such success fleshing out his character in S3, in my opinion.

It would have worked well, yeah. Their reasoning for not running with it was that the plot was complicated enough already - it's a good point.

I still say Craig Digsby should have been Jay's masky-state.
But yeah, humanizing the Operator in any way would be a great way to ruin it. As far as the "ark", there was some speculation on the MH wiki that I read back in the early days of season 2 suggesting that the Ark might have been nothing, an idea cooked up to cope with the horror of the Operator or something. Seems like that wound up being the case.

I'm just gonna say that the hours Jay went missing in Entry #19 were when he went Skully. And when he was attacked by Alex and seemingly taken in Entry #71, it awakened Skully.

I've forgotten by now, but at least in the original release, wasn't that sorta the deal with Slender: The Arrival's tower? I seem to recall in the original release a bunch of papers and things telling you the tower was the one place safe from Slendy, but when you get there that turns out to be a load of shit.
Also, seems the answer to the poll was "None of the above".
