(I'm never calling him The Operator ever again).

Any particular reason why?

Just re-watched this.

I think this should've been the final entry with the entirety of what we saw in Entry #87 tacked on at the end. Would've saved everyone(audience and creators) 6 months of ambiguity that led nowhere.

I think it's perfect for the final entry since it has all of the things that people liked about the series. Suspense, action, great sound, great editing, our main characters Jay and Alex, and Slender Man (I'm never calling him The Operator ever again).

I mean other than Hoody's dead and the revelation that he was Brian(which was obvious the whole time) did we see anything that we really needed to see in the entries that followed with Tim as the main character?

We found out why exactly Alex was running around killing everybody. We got a resolution to the characters of Alex and Hoody (I call him that because Brian died a long time ago). We got confirmation that Tim was the source of all of this. And as a result of Entry 81, we get an idea of the events which led up to Jay getting shot (I posted it on another thread). And while I can understand the ending being disappointing to a lot of people, Entry 83 and 86 truly were doozies which were well worth the wait, and show off the full might of the Slenderman/Operator (let's face it, people outside the MH fandom consider this to be a Slenderman series).

I just always hated calling him that when discussing this series since he is known everywhere as Slender Man(his original name, also a better one). Now that the series is over I feel no need to refer to him as that anymore.

Plus, I'm very disappointed by the ending so I'm just kind of being a dick.

I can see that. Personally, I'm very anal-retentive, so I have issues seeing things not referred to by their "proper" names. If you'll notice, I almost never use abbreviations. "Marble Hornets" is almost never "MH" in one of my posts, I only recently gave in to using "Masky & Hoody" instead of "The Masked Man & The Hooded Person," "EverymanHYBRID" is seldom "EMH" & never "Everymanhybrid" or "Everyman Hybrid," etc.

I'm sort of the same way. Mostly depends on the abbreviation. I always hated "TO" as an abbreviation for The Operator. Potentially confusing and doesn't flow well. It also depends on who I'm talking to. Around here, I'll say MH, but if I were somewhere else I'd probably spell out "Marble Hornets" so people understand.

I always hate when people abbreviate crap out of context and expect you to just know what it means.
