A cryptic soundcloud
A couple of strange tracks/messages are appearing on this soundcloud account.

So far, there's been two of them, track one, "/"
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a bunch of noise with a reversed voice in the middle of it all, reading out "http://imgur.com/Ns2VWc9.gif" when you play it backwards (link), and that image then tells you to email 116.114.117.101.inputSPLATgmail.com

and once that was solved, track two, "//" appeared
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
binary in the song description leads to "http://i.imgur.com/zclwRnI.png", which has some dark text on a black background

Not sure where this is going to go, but it looks pretty interesting.

 		The description of "/" contains decimal encoding of ascii, which translates to:

isn't it obvious?


I've changed the background colour of the image in "//" to reveal the hidden text: http://i.imgur.com/MeneGUg.png
Some letters are in between brackets. Combining those gives this text:

I'm not sure where to go from here, though.

which has what looks like genetic code at first glance but

is really binary. Substitute 0 for lower case, 1 for upper and get:

Oh thank god you cracked it, I'd been tearing my hair out because I messed up one number somewhere and kept getting things like "https://soundcloud.com/true-input/step-three/s-Ew\˜Â", and it was just getting worse and worse the more I tried to redo it...

The new image says "// IS THE QUESTION" and the track description suggests we have to send another email with the answer as the subject. The first thing that jumps out at you is the fact the genre tag for // is "do you know how to jump?" but I'm sure there's something else there somewhere.
EDIT: Yeah scrap that, the hidden text in the image from // is a direct quote from The Lost World, that's got to be the question.

Got a reply while I was reading through that book trying to figure out what on earth the answer could be:

 		I think the "catch them all" message is referring to the keys we have to collect to free the person running the soundcloud (Aster, as we recently discovered).
It's all been going on over at the reddit page, but I'll probably write up what's happened since DNA later for anyone who doesn't like the reddit format (I never got on with it before, but I made an account just for this and it's not too bad)
