Doesn't appear that it's possible to join---there's nothing to click and no obvious way to leave the landing page. The snippets of chat logs are interesting, though....

I haven't tried it but what about the "join" link in the top right menu, or the "register" link in the login on the right-hand sidebar?

Edit: WHOA okay this is a drastically dfifferent site now than what I saw last night! I know I'm going to sound crazy but last night it was just a white page with black text saying 'They are lying to us. It is possible. She is the proof' as the background, and some chatlogs between a 'Sullivan' and a 'subject' about how the subject (apparently female? could this be the 'she' who is the proof?) had suddenly developed the ability to speak Greek. She hadn't downloaded a 'language pack' but apparently one was in her memory anyway.

So. Now it looks like a real board, joining right away!

I'm, here as Jane the parahuman. This should be fun.

Well, about an hour ago I got contacted by an apparent NPC dude called CarlosTheCat who wanted to know what I was augmented with, and explained he was a cat---not fully, but he got ears and a tail that his parents got him when he was fourteen. Still saving for the eyes, apparently.

I told him I got wings and 'go all glowy' like my avatar. Maybe y'all will get messages from him or similar too? Or should I prompt him to reach out to you guys?

I've been posting whatever I can and trying to act the part of a passionate newbie in the hopes that someone would bite and send me something, and success - I just got a private message from Dominic Francon:

I'm not really sure what's going on, but I'm in! I just read wikipedia for like an hour and decided that I'm a Technogaian.

I tried several different cipher tools to solve the message wastedtime got, but no luck.

THEN IT STARTS WITH THE FACE AND FROM THE FACE INTO THE BRAIN THE EYES ARE COMPLETELY REMOVED. ……..PLENTY OF PEOPLE HAVE CAT EYES OR GET IRIS IMPLANTS TO CHANGE THE COLOR
IT WAS VERY DARK AFTER THAT BUT I COULD HEAR THEM TALKING THROUGH THE SOCKETS THE AUGMENTER ENTERS TO INSERT A QUANTUM INTERFACE DESIGNED TO COMPLETELY EMULATE THE FUNCTION OF NATURAL NEURONS. THIS DEVICE IS DECEPTIVELY SMALL ABOUT THE SIZE OF A TUBE OF LIPSTICK ONCE INSIDE IT EXPANDS SLOWLY LIKE A TREE GROWING ROOTS UNTIL IT HAS INVADED EVERY PART OF THE BRAIN. IT LITERALLY GETS INTO EVERYTHING THE LANGUAGE CENTERS THE LIMBIC SYSTEM EVERYTHING KITH FIBERS MUCH SMALLER THAN A HUMAN HAIR.
THESE TENDRILS ARE COATED IN NANOBOTS PROGRAMMED TO EAT AND GROW THEY START OUT SMALL BUT OKER THE COURSE OF A FEW YEARS THEY BEGIN TO COMPLETELY REPLACE WHOLE AREAS OF THE BRAIN. WITHIN FOUR YEARS THE ENTIRE BRAIN IS….. ONCE ALL THEIR ORGANS ARE REPLACED INCLUDING THE BRAIN THERE S VERY LITTLE THAT CAN GO WRONG WITH THE BODY. WE HAVE SUSPICIONS ABOUT THE HIGHER AUGMENTATIONS AS WELL BUT IT WILL BE A WHILE BEFORE WE CAN CONFIRM THEM.
………….. FINALLY THE EYES ARE REPLACED WITH CAMERA LIKE DEVICES THAT ROUGHLY MIMIC THE APPEARANCE OF THE NORMAL EYES AND FUNCTION MUCH BETTER.

I SUSPECT I M GOING TO HAVE PTSD FROM THIS EXPERIENCE AND THERE S NOTHING I CAN DO ABOUT IT. ……. IT WAS VERY LIKE THE JAUNT I WAS COMPLETELY PARALYZED AND RELIANT ON A TUBE TO BREATH THERE WERE OTHER TUBES SNAKING IN AND OUT OF MY BODY SOME INTO MY ARM AND OTHERS INTO MY NECK AND EVEN A FEW IN MY LEGS .I WAS COMPLETELY PARALYZED AND RELIANT ON A TUBE TO BREATH. I M NOT SURE WHAT ALL THE TUBES WERE SUPPOSED TO DO THE AUGMENTER DIDN T MENTION IT TO HIS UNDERSTUDY. AND I COULD NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS DESCRIBE THE PAIN. I saw both of you friend Daniel Duquesne. I just wanted to warn you that he's insane. He's got this vendetta against Augcorp (which isn't unusual, actually – I mean, look at Goldwasser), but he takes it to a dangerous extreme. He lives down in Louisville on a big farm with his whole family, and they're stockpiling food and guns because they believe the apocalypse is coming soon. It's weird, because they're always talking about Armageddon and the Antichrist, but I don't think they're actually Christians. Basically, they think there's going to be a big war, and Augcorp is going to be a part of it in some way. I don't like it, but sometimes people in our community go completely insane for no reason. Look at Leonard. He used to be relatively functional, but not anymore. I guess augmentation is just too much for some people to handle.
