Probably, but I think "Why are there so many shots of characters' legs and feet as they're attacked or dragged away?" would be in line.

That and "How did the characters manage to drop the camera just so it would frame a scene perfectly, especially when those legs started kicking?" are what I wanna know.

Oddly enough, I actually thought that they were pretty believable in this regard.

I doubt you'll get much out of them in terms of plot questions. They might confirm certain things within the entries to be of little/no consequence but beyond that, I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I agree with this, & yet I should not agree with this. What's the point of an "Ask Me Anything" where nothing is actually answered? About the same point as a mystery series where the clues lead nowhere, I suppose.

1 reason why I'm debating whether or not I should bother with it. Can you comment anonymously on Reddit? I don't really want to be Reditor....

(And yes, I do know that some people will want to know about more technical questions. Hyperbole.)

I'm thinking about creating a throw-away account and asking them: "V0hPIEFNIEk/"

Excellent, and it lands on a payday for me! Very Happy Now, do I need to sign up for reddit beforehand, or can I leave questions without signing up?

I like the suggestions in the previous page. Word your questions carefully, and be prepared for the more direct and specific questions to be either vaguely answered or not answered at all. Of course, there are other things you can ask about - the film, the new series, DVD content, etc.

You can make a throwaway account, but you're going to have to sign up to ask questions.

Shamelessly using this thread to store questions. If I don't show up, some of them may be asked anyway.

Edit: And now I have amassed enough questions to need organization.

SLENDER QUESTIONS

>What was cut from Slender? Is the re-release content written by you, or someone else?

>What problems did you face working with Blue Isle Studios?
Troy didn't think was allowed to share this information.

TOTHEARK QUESTIONS

>How much does Tim really know about his past with The Operator/what he does in the Masked State/what Brian was up to?

>How did they save Jessica? Suggested that Tim just ran into her on the street after The Operator shit her back out.

>Did Tim & Brian decide to stop working together? If so, why?

>What was Brian trying to do? What was "The Ark"? "Hoody was crazy" handwave confirmed. "Ark is the end" strongly suggested.

>What was meant by "We will wait for you no more, control is being taken from you"?

>Why did Brian want Tim & Jay to work together & what weren't they doing that caused him to get mad?

>If he conspired to save Jessica, why was he trying to reveal her location? Why couldn't Jay find her?

>Why was he always communicating in code & vague messages? Who was he afraid would see them & why did he think that Jay could solve them? "Hoody was crazy" handwave confirmed.

>What did the water references mean?

OPERATOR QUESTIONS

>Is there another universe where The Operator takes its victims?

>Why does The Operator fixate on certain people (like Alex) & largely leave others alone (like Brian, Jay, & random people)? The Operator follows everyone, but its effects vary because reasons.

>Why does it shift space & erase memories? Why doesn't it just kill its victims?

>Does it control people, or just make them violent? Was it controlling Alex?

>What happened after the cast 1st interacted with The Operator that was so important?

>What was that business with The Operator passing a zoned out Jay & approaching the camera? Discarded plot point.

>At the end of Season 2, did Jay charge The Operator, or was he drawn towards it?

>Why is that basically the only time that it stalked Jay & what was it doing with Jessica?

>Are there local legends about The Operator in Rosswood?

>Why is it usually standing still when it's been shown that it can move?

ENDING QUESTIONS

>In the end, how much did Jessica know about what happened?

>Is she alive? Is Tim?

>Does the medication actually stop The Operator or even grant any resistance to it at all? Not directly said, but inferring from "Tim has more control over his condition," probably some.

GENERAL QUESTIONS

>Do the characters have some sort of control over the teleportation?

>What is the distortion, why does it often feature shots from other Entries, & do the characters experience anything "off-screen" when it's happening?

>Why did Alex tell Jay & Tim to leave?

>Who killed Rocky?

>Did Tim start the fire at the hospital? Does The Operator cause its victims to set things on fire? Is this what is meant by "it likes fire"?

Elaborating on this: Did Hoody actually intentionally orchestrate Jay's death, as Tim accused him of doing? If so, why the hell did he do so? What did he gain? And if not, how did Alex escape him?

And also, considering some of his statements in the TTA vids, did he also plan for or expect his own death? Did he, as some have speculated, deliberately make that jump?

I understand them wanting to leave some things ambiguous, but I hope they at least answer some of these tricky questions about character motivation (Brian plz).

I doubt it. They mentioned in the podcast that the shot was originally supposed to show Tim tackling Hoody, then the two being immediately teleported to the balcony so that Tim accidentally pushes Hoody off. The change was a last minute thing because they couldn't make the planned version look good, so I doubt that quick change also entailed Hoody now killing himself intentionally.

Damn. I can see why that would have been difficult to film, but that would have been a far cooler shot if they'd pulled it off.

Oh, yes, I knew I was forgetting something.

"Do the characters have some kind of control over the teleportation?"

Hrmm... Now that it's there I can't think of any questions that they'd answer. There's a ton of questions about the series I know they wouldn't (what was with the masky/hoody relationship? what caused them to stop being partners? Did any of the totheark puzzles mean anything or were they just meant to be creepy? Most of Lithp's questions) The rest they've already answered (how did they do the fire? What was up with the hoody death scene? Was Alex's story meant as an operator origin story?)

I suppose bugging them about the movie and game would be the way to go. Also their future projects.

I won't have access to an internet connection for most of tomorrow, so I will not be able to ask them a question that is VERY important to me. This question being, "Where did you guys buy the tan/brown hoodie that Brian wears?" This question is INCREDIBLY important to me, so if one of you could PLEASE ask them this, do. You have no idea how happy it'd make me. Thanks in advance.

Sure they probably won't answer, but if I ask, people can't say that I didn't give them a chance.

I'm not gonna be the one it reflects poorly upon if all of their responses are "we don't have an answer for that."

Actually, by that logic, I've decided to throw in a few more "obvious" questions.
