I like being the only person on unfiction that isn't disappointed, because I didn't interpret Tweetpocalypse 2012 as meaning a new entry would come out within 4 days of the last. I always planned on a normal schedule (like two weeks, I guess) so I'm only a week overdue for my expected entry. Very Happy

You're one of at least two who had that thought process. Knucks!

Well technically this is still an unusual schedule because the original entry was supposed to come out within a week of entry #61 and they just got delayed because of OOG reasons... So can we both be right? Very Happy

The real Tweetpocalypse 2012 was the antique shop break-in, anyway.

Yeah, what was the point of that, anyway? Was it just to satisfy the fans between seasons? It didn't reveal anything and doesn't really make sense plot-wise (I mean, Jay isn't the most bold person, so it's a little unrealistic for him to break into the shop. And what would he expect to find there? It was like the most intense investigating he'd done at that point, but it ended up not affecting anything...)

Breaking into peoples houses is a gateway crime.

Say no to gateways, kids.

I haven't given up on that break-in amounting to something. The emphasis on the paintings reminds me of #20, with the fire painting. I'm hoping that the painting motif comes into play with the reveal of TTA or finding out how to "win" or whatever the final climax is going to be. OOG,
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I can't imagine them going to the trouble of setting up a shoot there in some random antique shop without planning to come back to it. The connection to Tim's doctor was too tenuous for that to be the only use of the place, if they have any sense of plot-structure. If they don't use it again, then it was a pretty contrived means of getting Jay together with Tim to start up a new season, and I think they're better than that.

You're right about Jay's efforts being significant. Most of the time, it's bad storytelling to have the protagonist's actions end up being irrelevant. Deus Ex Machina and all that. Hasn't been a strong narrative technique since Euripides. That's another reason why the recent Tweetpocalypse needs to resonate through the rest of the series. It's going to get old quickly if every time Jay decides to take real action, nothing comes of it. He doesn't have to succeed the way he intended, but something from his actions that night should change the direction of the series.

They'll introduce a new character named Ben. He likes pools.

Holy shit, you guys...

All of the jumbled "Entry blah blah blah" stuff at the beginning... have the letters in Tim's last name jumbled up in them. Remember, Tim's last name is Wright. Look:

ENTRY #1IHR{WGT0}00
ENTRY #RWIT}H00{10G
ENTRY #R0IH0T{}T010G
ENTRY #}IHWRGT00{10

The characters in all of those combinations are: Entry # Wright 00 1 {}

Speculate away, everyone.

At the bottom of this page, in the speculation category, I made the same observation, right before I joined Unfiction! My username is the same, but for some reason it doesn't show on that comment. I kept having problems adding to the wiki's speculation, which is the main reason I joined Unfiction Smile
