As part of my rewatch, I'm noticing very odd edits Noah has made to the older videos using youtube annotations. The first one, in Introduction, is just a simple change to Milo's birth year, which I put down to probably being caused by Maths. But in My Grandfather Karl there's a much more drastic one, in that Karl Maxwell is now his grandfather on his mother's side, which is a pretty significant retcon to the characters involved and strains credulity as something someone could reasonably be expected to have gotten wrong while making the video. Has there been some explanation for these edits I haven't seen?

Also, I totally never noticed that the Karl visit is right after his visit to the grave, meaning the Slenderin' he was Renderin' in Milo's Funeral happened shortly before his talk with Karl. No wonder he's all antsy about Noah being around.

He said in an interview that he changed the grandfather's relation because he realized he made the mistake of having Slender problems On his mother's side while having Karl as his dad's father, it just didn't make sense. He also explained that his mom kept her last name as did Noah.
