This is what I get for sleeping...the puzzle is already solved.

My contribution is listing Dr. Ripley and Johnathan Watson http://www.twitter.com/NotthatWatson as being connected to ADI, and in Watson's case, aliens and Area 51?

Ripley's last post was May 30th, and Watson's on July 16th...If I was cynical, I'd bet that something happened to Watson's plane...

Man, they really are pretty strict about separating the discussion.

What Mr. Reese was referring to was discussion about Twitter accounts that were found that seem to be connected to ADI.

Also, it was found by Intern Oli that the cypher was typed in a Typeface called Alchemy.

As for these people being "fictional" I'm not so sure. I'm beginning to think we're being used as a hive mind to solve things that ADI needs help with. So everyone should be careful about what they post on the ADI forums.

 		I was gonna post a timeline with the info gathered so far, but I'm new here and when I got into it I had no idea if I should use spoilers and on what lol. So I canceled it, I'll probably do it in word and post it when it's bigger and actually needed.

So I went there and you can email to reserve your puzzle that is based on Ancient Elements. Since the journal was written in Alchemical symbols, I think this might further discovery. I sent an email of interest as they requested and I'm awaiting a reply.

The drawing for the "Fire" puzzle looks very similar to ADI product drawings!

 		I don't think any of that needs to be spoilered. I reserve spoiler covers for solutions to puzzles and ciphers and the like.
As for pyropuzzle.com, whois says it's registered by a Steve Miller, and some googling makes me think it's just a nod to puzzle lover/creator from the UK and not related to ADI.

 		So thought I would just throw out some observations so far to generate some discussion:

-ADI assembles interns to assess their hire-ability by providing projects involving so far what has been a decryption of a journal entry.

- The decoded text
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
(based on Alchemy symbols) talks about using an artifact discovered in Kremlin tunnels (a "three part crystalline") found by Dr. Roger Ripley, in tests being conducted in ADI labs.


- The Twitter account for Dr. Ripley (@PhdRipley) validates through video updates, he did in fact find this artifact and brought it back to the UK. He has not updated since the end of May 2014.

- ADI has posted on their forums that the information within this text is completely fictional and should not be pursued.

- Oddly, and possibly unrelated, a friend of Dr. Ripleys, John Watson (@NotthatWatson) is involved in the development of a cryptic puzzle based on Elements (www.pyropuzzles.com). The first puzzle being called "Fire". ADI reported that recently they suffered a fire who's cause has not been provided.

I am already thinking that ADI is certainly up to something other than recruiting interns to solve puzzles. Are they trying to weaponize an ancient artifact? Have they harmed Dr. Ripley? Who wrote the journal entry? What do you all think?

 		Nice! I didn't connect the Fire Puzzle with a fire. I was thinking Watson flew across the pond and wrote the Journal and perhaps died in the fire.
