If you look closely, what you're all referring to as the Operator symbol is actually a zero and a backslash overlaid on each other. Could just be the best way to achieve an operator symbol using that camcorder font (overlaying an X and an O results in a square shape), but it's mildly interesting that the Wikipedia page on "Null character" states that "The null character is often represented as the escape sequence \0 in source code string literals or character constants."

I realise this leaves us nowhere in terms of solving the thing, but thought it might be worth sharing nevertheless.

since we are now certain that Tim's last name is Wright, could the letters left out of Wit--R, G, and H be of any help to the code? Since the "Mr. Wit" thing is emphasized here? Just a thought, I don't know much about codes, and it's been a while since I watched Null.

I think he's saying that it's more likely that totheark died right after this because totheark is Brian and Brian died right after this. Which to me seems very likely, although I do think Timasky was involved at some points.
