IGN's Halo 2 Review IGN's Halo 2 Review
I have yet to read this 8 page beast of a review because it just went up, so I don't know what spoilers are there and how minor they are. Don't blame me is you spoil something you didn't want to know. Just a forewarning.

No spoilers - the writer says that right off. But as far as I've read, it's a pretty good review.

i've just finished reading all the reviews..it took 50 minutes lol...there were like 10 reviews i read from various sites.
My over all feeling is just as it was prior to reading the reviews..I can't wait for it.
The one thing I was disappointed in was gamespot's review. I read the review, and the score they gave it, and i simply don't agree with them. I used to always visit gamespot, but they went "down hill" it seems..the guy plays it on normal, complains it's too short? Try a diff. difficulty right? duh.
They just focus on the little problems and exagerate them, but we all know they do this for attention, ..so there's my viewpoint after 50 mins of reading 10 reviews.

From what I understand, there is quite a big spoiler in the Gamespot video review. So if you want to be completely spoiler-free with Halo 2, I would suggest staying away from that review.

And I wish I read that before I saw it, because now I am SERIOUSLY pissed.
WARNING TO ALL!!!!

i agree about the gamespot stuff. I watched the review and there is a spoiler there, its not that big, but its there nonetheless. Gamespot always seems to be a little skew on game reviews. They are really good for news, but I dont like their reviews.

Haha. Agreed once again! I read both IGN and GameSpot reviews and found that Gamespot tended to dwell on the worser parts of the game (which are like 2 things), making it almost not seem worth your while. While in the IGN article, the editor spends much more time (8 pages worth) on the good aspects of the game, he also notes the flaws in the game. The reason IGN's article is better is because it is well-balanced as opposed to the seemingly pessimistic approach in the Gamespot review.
