Do we know who the actress is that plays Stella? We could see if this is a tattoo of her own or added for Endgame.
Her name is Haley Webb:

And according to this photo, there's no tattoo:
http://www.imdb.com/media/rm508935680/nm2251716?ref_=nmmi_mi_all_pbl_39
But maybe it's airbrushed
EDIT to add: I didn't choose Maxim photo on purpose. I was just looking for pics that showed her wrist.

Mu the tatt Hi!
I use to be 'swish' on here way back… but whatever.
So, I was thinking about the tattoo; maybe it's the symbol mu: http://www.masterfile.com/stock-photography/image/679-05797932/Mu-is-the-12th-letter-of-the-Greek-alphabet.-In-the-system-of-Greek-numerals-it-has-a-value-of-40.-The-lower-case
In that case we'd know what bloodline Stella's of.

It does look like the symbol Mu. That would be interesting if her family line is Mu. For one it would give extra credibility to her passion for these ancient societies. Think about it; if she grew up being told she was descended from a once great but completely lost civilization, why wouldn't she be obsessed with ancient societies. It also makes her mother's necklace, which is of Olmac origins, a little more interesting.

There is a new challenge posted at http://www.ancientsocieties.com/time/ . The page reads:
Quote:
In my travels I have seen many monuments to the dead, and I often take some time writing down what I've seen. Most are quite clear about the year of their death, though others tend to more cryptic.
DIMITRIOS NICON LUX IN TENEBRIS
My initial thoughts on it are. Dimitrios is a greek suburb. Nicon might refer to Aelius Nicon, a greek and the father of a greek biologist. Lux in Tenebris makes me think "light in dark". Anyone else have any ideas?

"Time" Challenge solve:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Clues are year and cryptic, which I interpreted as cryptogram. The phrase is actually a chronogram. Find the roman numerals and add them up.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
DIMIIICLXII
500+1+1000+3+100+50+10+2=1666

Hrm, I'm not sure... it gives me that error when I go to a page that doesn't exist (like when I'm trying to solve one of the clues).
What if you try with the full url like:

Do you have any anti-virus or other privacy features enabled which would disallow cross-domain redirects? Or, are you behind a firewall which might require a site to be white-listed?
The short URL eventually leads to a YouTube video, but it does so thru a secondary domain. That double redirect might be a problem for some setups. Here is the sequence; try these links in reverse order.
#request# GET http://stl.la/hammock
#request# GET http://youtu.be/kHC_HTLDqtg
#request# GET http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHC_HTLDqtg&feature=youtu.be

New challenge - Meaning .
Often, we must look to what remains from ancient civilizations for guidance.

This new challenge has me puzzled. If you remove all of the names of the 12 Ancient Civilizations, you are left with:
PEXPECRXSISXLCO
As with the prior Roman Numerals, removing those: XCXCIXLC (381, if added up.)
leaves you with PEPERSSO
No combination of those seem to yield any results.

Yeah, I tried the same thing. Could it be that one/some of the Roman numerals actually shouldn't be used for the number and should be used for the word instead?

NickyTea - you did the correct steps, but in the wrong sequence. First, make a word from your original left-overs. Then, remove that word from your left-overs. Then, convert that final batch of left-over left-overs into a number.

Seriously, would someone just please freakin' post the exact solution -- you can do it in [spoiler] tags if you like -- rather than dancing all around it. I am sick and tired of looking at this.
