Yep, I concur. Sleep Paralysis.

It's very interesting stuff actually. When you sleep and enter deep REM sleep, your body paralyzes itself, so when you dream, you don't thrash about. When you come up out of REM, the body returns to normal.

Sometimes your body and brain get out of sync. The two sides of the coin are sleep paralysis, where you brain wakes up and your body is still paralyzed from REM sleep, or conversely when you have a jerk reaction while falling asleep.

I have two family members that have had repeated Sleep Paralysis episodes over the years. It's pretty scary stuff, but usually nothing to worry about.

Just hit your re-sync button! Wink

When i transport, I am awake.

I lie with my palm up, so if i fall asleep, it drops and i wake up. Smile

I have never waken up paralyzed, altho the body have started sleeping while my brain was functioning, pretty wierd.

Correct me if im wrong, but in sleep paralyzis, you are not completely awake and cannot think normally, i have been in this condition too but things are a blurr and kinda half sleep half awake. I know you can think someone is in the room and stuff and it has a logical explanation. This is not at ALL transport tho, completely different.

Tell me if you are clear awake?

just one more

I believe you're all correct about the sleep paralysis. Just one more opinion.
Also in case anyone is interested there are five stages of sleep that ruun in approx. 90 minute cycles:
Stage one is a transition between waking and sleeping it usually lasts only a couple minutes
Stage two is baseline sleep it makes up roughly half of the 90 minute cycle
this is the theta rythm.
Stage three after about ten minutes stage two becomes delta sleep which lasts between 15 and 30 minutes its also called slow wave sleep
btw DELTA sleep is the deepest stage of sleep and the most restorative.
Stage five is REM sleep, the active part of the 90 minute cycle makes up about 1/4 of the cycleall your bodily functions breathing, brain wave etc. quicken in this stage and this is when dreams occur
after REM the body usually returns to stage two to start the cycle over.
