 		[CONTACT] Talbot's Cell Phone
Someone on FB pointed out that Talbot & Jenny have a cellphone number listed in their about pages (same number) and that people were calling and texting it. Some people got text responses.

I called this morning thinking it was an auto responder thing, it was not. I should have hung up until I was more awake, I did not. Sooooo I left a dumb message "Hey Talbot, this is Pixie. Call me back at [mynumber]"

I feel foolish. Normally I would have put up a better story there, interaction used to be my thing. I'm out of practice. :-/

Anyone else have better luck?

 		According to the OOG Google+ site, there are 2 text interactions from Talbot...One to Dorkmaster and one to GeologyLady.
There may be more, but not reported where I've seen.

Both are almost identical, "I'm ok, thanks for asking, just driving down Rte 66 to LA, please let everyone know I'm safe and sound"

and then a 2nd one to GeologyLady, "Ted has a real bed and an XBox, Much better than a hotel! Later!"

So just confirmations, really, at this point that the number is his and he does have his cell phone...

I should also add that I can confirm he's answering FB messages (several reports of this on G+ as well) but nothing really exciting to report there either. Just the same thing..."I'm ok, thanks for asking, I appreciate the offer to help! Let's get together and talk when I get to LA!" kind of thing.
So is he avoiding Amber (PsychoFan) just because she's nuts or is there another reason he wouldn't text her? And Jenny? And mom/dad/grandpa/etc.?

 		I've got a FB message out to him asking about Amber. Because it seems like he doesn't want to talk to her but players were giving the new number to her. We'll see if he responds.

 		I am geologylady Smile and yes got a couple texts and also sent him FB message and had replies. Not heard anything today... not sure if anyone else has - he mentioned his phone having a badly cracked screen in his journal...

Talbot - You have no idea! There are tons of musicians here, I'm kind of amazed! I was hanging at the pool jammin' with some dudes. It was awesome!

UPDATE - he messaged some more - seems like he wants to hit the road

Talbot - A lunge?! There was definitely some lunging going on at the pool party. I'm definitely outta here tonight, though. Got people to see in LA, man.

Talbot - love the beach. I'd love to learn to surf. As far as staying there, we'll see how it goes. I've got enough cash to last me a while...

me - well hopefully you can be on your way soon, and have no more delays like that accident. That must have been really intense. Read about your phone cracking, and how the Mercedes was all crumpled. Was the other car really messed up too?

Talbot - Yeah, I'm looking forward to getting out there. Bummed about my phone though. It's getting wonky and I can only access a few apps... I actually don't remember seeing another car.. They must've already had towed it

Yeah, I'm almost positive at this point that HIS car was the other car involved in that accident. No reason he's not already dead at this point in the story...

Me (Last night): Hey Talbot - you don't know me, but I'm a huge fan. Saw you got checked in to your hotel for the night, seemed kinda... Weird. Was just hoping you might be able to drop me a text so I can let all your fans know you're okay and settled in safely for the evening. Thanks man, hope you have a great evening!

Talbot Griffin: Hey, always good to meet a new fan! Sorry I didn't see this sooner, I'm getting crap cell coverage out here. What's your name? This hotel IS kinda weird, but AWESOME. They're having an EPIC pool party right now, so I'm gonna try to get late checkout and stick around a little bit. Cheers! 4:37 PM

He sent out the call on Twitter/Instagram as well. Phone still goes to voicemail, so no live calls here, as far as I can tell. Probably a way to get the PM's a list of phone numbers for hopeful future interactions.

I would, but I have a 1 1/2 year old trying to sleep next to me.
