Talbot's Swarm photo of the hotel lobby this afternoon looked awfully familiar..

It is the same lobby featured on the back/inset photo on the album Hotel California. That building is now the Lido Apartments in Hollywood. See photo comparison below with a screenshot from the Lido Apartments website gallery.

The address of the Lido Apartments is 6500 Yucca St in Hollywood. Maybe somebody should go there and check it out?

Oh gosh, Hollywood is not far from me but I couldn't get there until tomorrow morning on my way to work. Want me to do that? I wish I could go sooner but I'm at work and then have meetings.

Also...I'm relatively sure I've been there before. It was years ago when I was in college. I was working on a short film and one of the other crew members lived there.

OH SO VERY META: It's clever for the PM team to use that for the photoshoot, but they were doing photos BEFORE the game. I don't believe in any stretch of imagination they are ACTUALLY taking these pics in real time, MAYBE they go take extra pics as the game goes on, but still ahead of time. I am 100% sure there isn't an actor sitting there waiting for someone to show up at a random time *just in case*. You are of course always welcome to go check it out, but.... they aren't LARPing their end.
