Incoming phonecalls?

Anyone else receive a call from Talbot tonight? I just got one a few minutes ago - it was hard to hear, but I believe it was a "spooky" version of the voicemail I left him last night. Or two nights ago - whenever it was that he requested we call him.

Anyway, if you've haven't gotten one and left him a voice mail, be on the lookout...

Yep I got one too. It was hard to hear -lots of road noise - but I'm pretty sure it was a read-back of the message I left him a about getting on the road on Sunday.

If you get a call from area code 347 let it go to voicemail!

I haven't gotten a call yet but I'll be sure to let mine go to voicemail if I do.

I just got mine! I didn't let it go to voicemail (sorry!), but it was a playback of my original message all spooked out. At the end, after my message was done, there was a sound like howling wind.

So you think it was your own voice spooked up? Mine sounded like a guy, but that could have been filtered I suppose.

It was definitely my words/speech cadence, although it did sound like a guy speaking. Probably filtered or messed with in a sound editing program.

I actually tried to let mine go to voicemail but instead of leaving a message, I got another callback...so I answered. Same thing: my voice creeped out and lowered. But I also think I heard a slowed down song underneath.

Dude, so creepy... yeah, sounds like your call three times... then creepfest. Awesome, but scary.

Okeydokey, I just got both a recorded call from Amber, and my live personal call from Amber, and it was fantastic, although I was dumb because I didn't realize the second one was live.

I had planned on recording these because I thought they would happen tomorrow, but since they came in tonight while I was watching Elementary, no dice. So here's what I can remember, the gist of them both. And whoever did the voice acting was SUPER CREEPY CRAZY FAN GIRL. So kudos to her. Very Happy

What Amber said:
- You don't know who you're meddling with.
- You're too close.
- Talbot came to see ME.
- I can make YOU come to see me, too.
- I can seeeee yoooouuuuu.

I did talk back to her a little and tell her that we were going to rescue Talbot and make her disappear forever. She just laughed and hung up.

A+ interaction, would back this project again.

She also said (I do believe) "do you want me to be the last thing you see" or something like that... That was totally effing awesome, and PERFECT timing for me, because I was just about to bring my 1 1/2 year old to bed. 5 minutes later, and I couldn't have answered!

Also, I assumed that was Circe... I haven't been paying attention tonight (beyond my control) but now that I'm catching up, makes sense it's Amber.

OOOhhh....
I missed the first thing the woman said on the phone, damnit....I heard the "I can see you, You can't see me...I will be the last thing you see...." part, but not her implying she is Amber.

I wasn't prepared to record when the call came, so I let the call go to VM, hoping if a live call, they'd call back. They did not.
The recording is pretty garbled, but I've tried to transcribe it as well as I can.

you think *garbled*? (partly sounds like Ariock)
he meant nothing to you.
You don't know what you're meddling with.
Now the journey is complete.

Aw. He came here to see me.
*laugh*
I think you should too, Ariock.
If you'd like it to be the last thing you ever see.

*singing* I see you, Ariock.
*Laughing* You've already stepped too close! *more laughing* *end of call*

Looks like others got similar wording.

Edited to remove spoiler tags.

Yeah it was Ambers voice, trying to sound evil. Got the recorded call, same as October's summary. Fun! Plot twist!

Edit: the other confirmation is her last post on her main page reminding us Talbot was coming to see HER.

I also got the witches call about a half hour ago, which I took myself instead of letting it go to voicemail. It may have been live but she didn't pause in her monologue, just had the "don't know what you're meddling with" and "I seee you" followed by that really cool cackling she does! It made my night!

Edit: A nice touch was the telephone prefix she was calling from: 666 Twisted Evil
