The Word (with a capital W) has been coming a couple of times:
Quote:
...I will be visiting the Last Word Cafe, which is conveniently at the British Library.
and
Quote:
For Hannah's safety I cannot tell you the location listed on the note, because as you know I'm a man of my Word.
What could be the Word? The Bible? Something else?

Hey ndemeter! Glad you're on board the frustration train
The above bit played out on twitter where " because as you know I'm a man of my Word." Led to their next stop: https://twitter.com/PHPChatUser7/status/533150413177253888
The birds! The birds! What's with all the birds? It's like when you're giving directions to someone who doesn't speak English so you say it again louder. And louder.
Gavin did respond to my "Newton Colors" with this "Glad to see you're looking for patterns..." and then this https://twitter.com/gravitypapers/status/533364253856911364/photo/1
which could be a blacked out color wheel or
a huge period for the periodic table or
the circle, the circle of life.
I swear at times I get lost about exactly what it is I'm looking for...

Update So - just checked my mail and it appears that my Element Card was never actually submitted!
I have done so now, and so hopefully will receive a new clue soon. It appears that fifteen clue was because of Argon. Out of interest, who has claimed Argon?
I did also enquire as to whether the clue fifteen related to trench or something else.
Gavin has replied that it refers to canary.
There has also been some more activity on the Twitter - now, on top of the black circle there is a post of yellow & blue canaries, and a diagram which clearly parallels the joint canaries picture.
Edit:
Could 'trench' have something to do with the Puerto Rico trench? Puerto Rico is on Gran Canaria, one of the more well-known Canary islands.
Strange....

Seriously (or maybe not) I got nothing on
bird, bird-bird-bird
bird, bird-bird-bird
In binary it's 136
Roman numerals its 103,103
Ci3 is some obscure compound with sixteen letters, not fifteen
1313 brings up 1313 Mockingbird Lane
CiiiCiii is numerous ladies on Facebook
Cbbb Cbbb is from "Buh-Weet Sings"
Bird, bird, bird-bird ba-bird is something entirely different.
Sigh, maybe with more clues....

Let's hope we are not helping Peter Griffin because he's a tad slow.

Hi guys. I've been out of the loop for a while because I've been focusing on studies and assignments. Is there anything going on at the moment?
I read up about the canaries and the black colour wheel, but I'm really interested about the element baseball card kind of idea. I'm gonna e-mail Gavin with Cobalt for mine.

All quiet...? Good to put a username to the element!
It's gone quiet - which wouldn't necessarily be unusual, but I submitted my Element Card a few days ago now. No clue received, and no update to the Element Card Submissions page....

New post: http://gravitypapers.wordpress.com/2014/11/19/update/
And an e-mail from Gavin, thanking me for my element card submission and letting me know that it will be posted later. He also promised a clue.

Quote:
For the next clue you need perfect vision.
So 20/20?

But motto and mottled don't seem to be anything... there is a mottled canary??
EDIT:
Guess it was MOTTO

Was there a favorite motto about canaries during WW1 or something?
EDIT: I appear to be correct. From Twitter:
Quote:
Yes, so now you're looking for a WWI motto. Won't be easy. For obvious reasons the answer cannot be clear or easy.
I am looking a various WW1 war posters at this site for their slogans:

This could fit canaries and a few other things:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunnelling_companies_of_the_Royal_Engineers
EDIT
Ergo the buntings: https://twitter.com/gravitypapers/status/535833655768539136
Gavin didn't blow the binary, I did. The pattern CBBBCBBB will convert in binary to a single "w" but I failed to see any significance in that and looked further. I posted one binary translation, which may have dissuaded people from pursuing that angle. Reading the photos downwards, https://twitter.com/gravitypapers it does read
w
w
one (dot)
My apologies to all.
I think Peter Griffin could have done better.

Maybe it could be something related to canary girls ? That's all I can think of.
