 		If they're planning to continue Daniel's plot thread (about the heretics and such) without the character himself, they could kill him off and introduce a friend/colleague of his who takes over his investigation, or something like that. It might feel kind of cheap, but not sure what else could really be done without abruptly dropping it.

 		Where did you draw that conclusion? As far as hiatuses goes, many series's have gone for far longer breaks and still came back.

 		I'm pretty sure DH themselves have gone on a longer hiatus. Regardless, please shut up Mdisk.

This is the second thread where someone drops in to announce sarcastically "OH WELL I GUESS THIS SERIES IS DEAD HURP DERP" and it wasn't funny the first time, so it's not funny now.

And as has been stated in I believe the EMH thread, the DH boys and girl have more than enough of a canon reason to not update youtube or twitter daily. They're kind of in hiding from a cult.

Got some news regarding this "dead" series...IT IS NOT DEAD!!! According to their FB page they are continuing and new stuff will be posted soon. The video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xC6psoHmFMc is only viewable through the FB page (hidden), some BIG stuff is coming let me tell you now.
