 		Double post because this is an entirely different puzzle...

The 9 random squares on the main page... the ones that make up the satellite looking image. That one is the only one of the 13 pictures that does not go together to make a complete image. I was playing around with it and there are 2 complete images within the individual squares, and the remaining pieces are from those. Some pieces need to be rotated and/or flipped to match the complete image.

Complete images are:

and
A13 http://www.qu13e.com/345/A13.jpg

The pieces that contain images from A09 are A05 and A07.
The pieces that contain images from A13 are A00, A01, A03, A11, and A15.

 		More things re: images... I was looking at one of the partially solved puzzles, specifically the ones with the book quotes/lyrics that correspond to each picture. Perhaps this dimension might give us a hint as to what in the picture we should be looking for. If, as Punkbass says, these are all self-contained, then maybe we just aren't using all the information that's already available to us?

Additionally, I noticed that this image:

This picture of a gate, with "do not enter" written on it-- might have more significance? We were told the gate has opened and vampires or something would appear, but zilch. Last week, I wrote to Splinternails to ask if we were missing something regarding what's supposed to, well, appear. No response yet.....

I was thinking about this today. Has ANYONE heard from Splinternails during the month of October?

Also, I didn't think this was worth sharing until I could prove it, but... why not?

My suspicion concerning the thumbnails whose descriptions make up different quotes and lyrics is that at some point we are going to find a letter/number, number/number, letter/letter, or number/letter combination that will lead us to specific selections from each of the quotes that will form a phrase or clue.

Some obvious things to note:
The letters go from A-M, m being the 13th letter of the alphabet.
The numbers are all odd numbers between 0 and 15, including 0

This means if we find a corresponding set of numbers, and one of them is even, it is more likely to refer to the letters than the numbers.

Edit: Ok, ripping out hair moment:

I'm looking at the binary numbers again:

011103
011005
010108

As I mentioned before, here is there values:
111 = 7
110 = 6
101 = 5

So I think, maybe I am looking at them the wrong way? Maybe they should be read top to bottom...

Same freaking number! Coincidence? Probably. Am I going to be up the rest of the night wondering what 765 means? Definitely!

Edit Edit:

One more coincidence:

Looking at the quote for the Canister Spies image under directory 345 the quote says "Hustlers of the world, there is on Mark you cannot beat: The Mark Inside"

Is it a coincidence that M is capitalized twice under the image 345? 345 is also the number under the M in the "I am the Key" image...

I don't think we will hear from Splinternails again until we have something relevant to say to him, or a new person sends him a message. In addition, Japan was just slammed with a typhoon. Lines of communication may be down.

Y'all are coming up with really interesting ideas. Not that I know what to do with anything but... it's awesome to see fresh thoughts.

October 31 is coming up fast. The time shall be upon us soon, the question is shall we wait or shall we continue to try and hold onto the threads we have?

 		Yes! Finally back online... I have to admit I barely got any work done on the puzzles while we were offline.

Some of us have been working on these for years and years, so I doubt we should quit, even if in the worst case scenario, the qu13e website does disappear after 10/31.

The lease on the splinternails site isn't up yet, so maybe there would be activity there.

Also I found more advertisements for qu13e as lately as last week, so I don't think our PM has abandoned us quite yet. Smile

It seems the websites were renewed until at least 2015, so there's definitely more time to play. However, I do recommend reading up on what has already been solved a bit. Do let us know if you come up with any theories or solutions!
