Very well put DHawk. Quite an eloquent way of describing the difference.

I'm very taken by TribeTwelve's story, but the updates come so infrequently that I wonder if Adam will ever finish it. Unlike Troy, he has nobody to help him, and he suffers from depression. I know from experience what depression does to your ability to accomplish things, and I mean no disrespect, but I'm afraid that if he doesn't update more often, he'll lose his audience.

I must confess that Noah Maxwell's passivity is starting to grate on my nerves. It may be a realistic portrayal of somebody who's having a nervous breakdown, but I think it would make a better story if Noah would get off his ass and look for a way to fight the Collective.

Marble Hornets is the first and still the best of all the Slenderseries, but TribeTwelve could be a classic in its own right if its creator can find his way out of the Slough of Despond.
I'm rooting for him.
