going to bring some of our theories over to the THAC forums and say hey to the folk over there.
But damn that second teaser was sneaky. I'm starting to think whoever ran the TTA youtube may soon or already run the MH youtube and twitter.
BTW has anyone got this on the MH website?

Going off my last post, didn't realize the noise wasn't related to that video particularly. its a interim sound trans world radio plays, so i guess the numbers aren't related.
Maybe -9 04 40 is a date or something

Uhm, nope. I got nothing. I even tried the IE to get something, because the source code of the site has a
Code:
<if>
<script></script>
<endif>
in it. Got nothing though. Seems to be a script to make html5 run in older IE versions. Or something. I don't know that kind of stuff.
/edit the code environment does not seem to work properly here.

I've been trying to look at it from far away but I'm not sure, I'd love to give my two-cents on the code and script but I know nothing in that area :S I hope it doesn't become mandatory for future puzzles

web developer here - posting just to confirm you're right so others don't waste time on this script.
it's a script made so some newer HTML elements can be run correctly on older IE browsers. including it is common practice in web development

Thanks for confirming that! But that leaves one question up: Cyan, where did you get that image from?

The URL of the image on the site is http://marblehornets.com/images/erroerror.gif . It appears to be used as the generic 404 page.

tried adding yes and no to the URL in the hopes of answering the "are you awake" question amongst others, got presented with that.

Try freezing the image at various points and trying to watch it in slower motion. (I did this on my smartphone by placing my thumb on the screen and then moving it slightly downward to pause the gif.) Does it look to anyone like a loop of a few frames of a cartoon that one might be watching through a snowy black and white analog TV broadcast?
EDIT: I am almost 100% that it is not a face. It looks like the point of two cartoon entities colliding and then violently falling or breaking away.

If you want to go pixel hunting, I'll post you the 10 frames of the .gif:

^^
Thanks for that. When it's animated it still looks like a cartoon to me. I think I remember some people saying they saw a face there. I don't see one.

Sorry to double post, but when I look at that from very far away, it actually looks like a forest.
it might even just be the red tower

Update on MH website: "If you have authorized access, please contact the admin at dscott3872 @ gmail.com" (added spaces in email so it would show up correctly)
Has anyone tried contacting this email yet?

I just did. I said:
"You're the admin of marblehornets.com? What does that mean? What do you plan on using it for? Who are you? Are you willing to hint at the answers to any of these by any chance?"
Let's see if I have "authorized access" (whatever the fuck that means)
