I, too have tried this. Normally (in regards to Yahoo) if you send out an email to a non-existing address, you'll get an email from yahoo containing an incident report/log.

With dscott, I haven't received any such report. I think that means the email is legit... Creepy.

 		If it looks like the MH website is going to be an ARG (so far it seems to be heading in that direction), I am planning to split off the relevant posts into their own thread.

 		I emailed a message with the title "Hello fine gentleman!" With a message that reads:

"If you replace 44 with the sum of the squares of its digits and repeat the process, eventually the answer will equal 1. This makes the number 44 a happy number! Rocket's a happy puppy, but I wonder if Rocket is happy reading this today? Make Rocket happy!"

I was considering sending a recipe for pancakes, but this seemed more fitting.

they're not even related, the stories are totaly different too, the only simularities are the vhs look.

yeah, its probably just random numbers strung together, ARGs like that do it all the time.

also if you check the arg's thread, it means the ark from the bible, that arg makes alot of flood references.

The http://marblehornets.com/ site has been updated and refers you to a Mail adress of the admin, if you have "authorized access" to the site.

I too wrote an Mail and asked my access to be granted. Let's see what happens.

I too sent an email which read:
You may be aware of this already, but the message "Are you awake?" was hidden in black text on this site a while ago. (Last time I checked was yesterday) Just wanted to make sure you knew unless someone else put it there without your permission.

Also, why have you created marblehornets.com? Are you affiliated with Alex Kralie in some way?
(If you're continuing his works, I honestly wouldn't bother. It'd be more interesting to document hotels.)
