I've mixed feelings on Troy, Joseph and Tim not being in 44 but I'm happy to go with whatever they're doing. If they have enough actors for this then that's awesome.


I do too, because they could always have worked themselves into the series in a supporting role in a way that didn't break continuity. Troy didn't have to be Jay; he could be, I dunno, Ray.

Tim could still play Tim Wright, maybe under an assumed name at first, and then we find out that he's hiding from a dark past--TO still need not get involved; this could be a suspense series without paranormal stuff even.

Joseph could play a DJ for a Sousa radio station.

Even other MH folk could drop by. Brian could by Ryan, a serious, straightedge law student...

Seriously, though, they coulda found a way, but if the quality of writing, directing, and producing from them leads to a quality series, then it's just a further step in their evolution as artists. (I seriously want to see what Troy's directing style and Tim's too will bring--I loved the student movie that Tim wrote and directed and had Troy play two roles in: "No Quarter," which you can find on YouTube.)

 		Tim Wright simply cannot be in this series. If he is shown to be alive, it utterly ruins the ambiguous ending to Marble Hornets that they achieved so well. Why can't people understand this

And my post was no more than half-serious about the old characters showing up in cameos. Does anyone really think that Troy will play Ray Herrick?

 		Even if they explained it away as Troy not being Jay, but instead (for example) Ray, they must know that setting the story in the same universe IG would lead to rife speculation regarding whether or not MAYBE it IS Jay with his memories erased, or... any other combination of timey-wimey BS and writing loopholes. It is really best that they not appear, especially Tim, but... yeah all 3 of them really need to not be in it.

Now, Seth, Sarah, Jessica or Amy shows up and I go fuckin' crazy and its all legit. =]

Naw, it's probably a mistake by guys who seem to be otherwise doing a meticulous job creating mystery and keeping us all intrigued and guessing.

Only question is, who gets three days in he THAC Timeout Shack for the good (new guy?)?

 		Urgh, so I've been trolling around on the marble hornets site and trying to guess the password for D Scott's email address and looking around to find any secret things. So I was thinking maybe we should make a list of random things type in the url and/or passwords tried. We may stumble over something that is important by trying important keywords.

IIRC, that was from the old version of the site. It probably means nothing and they just left it up because it doesn't matter.

The THAC Behind The Scenes video heavily implies that Noah will be the "protagonist" in this new series, at least to me. The small bit with him in front of some kind of bramble, seemingly filming himself, kind of confirms it. http://puu.sh/hiDsG/a45d039069.jpg But that could just be wishful thinking on my part.
