Could it have been September '06, though? "Introduction" says that the ill-fated shoot happened during that summer. But I also just noticed today that the original SA post by Jay says that the weird stuff related to the shoot happened "two or three years ago." Now he's unclear whether he's talking about the shoot or Alex giving him the tapes, but it's a bit off.

I do think that this is a clue. All the metadata from the flyer has been scrubbed, so I wouldn't be surprised if someone didn't want us to know that this had been edited like the photo of Alex (and maybe that's all that photo is supposed to do--distinguish between a quick edit and something much more deliberate). The lowercased name of Alex's dog was apparently a clue to the password, as was the revelation of Alex's birth year, so a conjecture that something big may happen this May 22nd isn't a very bad one.

Oh--I also thought about those double daggers. Don't they look like train tracks? They do to me. Not sure what that means (I know there was a train track by the old hospital, but if this flyer is from or is based on one from Alex's actual casting session, then he didn't even know Tim when he made it and so wouldn't have known the hospital).

I don't think it could have been September, in Marble Hornets' Introduction we're told that Alex did the filming for his movie in the Summer of 2006, and that filming took about place over the course of 3 months, so likely between the months of May-July or June-August. Alex may have held his auditions on either April or May 22nd but no later than May, if he held them in September it would have taken place after the filming and the subsequent haunting by the Operator.

 		That makes more sense with it being 22 September 2006. That means he did the auditions and then he would have filmed it over the summer rather than the auditions being 22 May 2009

Ah, I see you're from the southern hemisphere like me. MH is very obviously set in the northern.... wait... Do we have any grounds to assume that it's set in the Americas? I suppose there are signs and the obvious fact that THAC filmed it there... but still..?

 		Good possibility. I'm wondering whether "Listen" indicates that the new series will have some sort of podcast-like component? A series mostly conveyed through audio, with videos being rare treats, could be a novel way to present this sort of story.

 		Personally, I believe the flyer is forged by whoever wants us to listen to footsteps.

Its a subtle way to say something is going to happen soon. Friday the 22nd?

Or maybe May 3rd, tomorrow. There was a timestamp in one of the teasers. It said "PLAY 5:3"

But giant mistake or not, it doesnt change the fact that my hype just getting far more stronger.

Uh, I don't think you understand what's going on in that screencap, friend. The person you believe to be another member of totheark is MARBLEHORNETSFAN12345. That's the email they sent to dscott, and dscott's response is the stuff above that. As far as I can tell there's no taunting going on there.
