The tune in the video is just totheark conversion, as far as I can tell. I posted about the unedited version like 10 pages back. But you can definitely hear the similarities

The part in the receiver video sounds like the same as the start of this video, though slightly slowed down, and slightly distorted.

I, for one, find it odd that J. Battista posted his youtube link directly to the THAC forums. If Battista is an actual 44 series character, would he be communicating to people directly through the forum?

Also, D. Scott and J. Battista are both actual people... as far as I know, Battista is still alive. Wouldn't that be rather odd for them to add a real person into their fictional narrative? Or is this guy still serving a sentence for murder?

On another note, D. Scott was a well known paranormal investigator. One of his subjects was communication with the dead (sometimes by phone-which is a link to this new video). Another was creatures such as bigfoot and aliens are actually supernatural projections created by the viewer. An attempt to explain the operator?

Are we supposedly communicating with D. "Dead" Scott's ghost by email, then? Very odd indeed.

Well, who knows? After all Marble Hornets was originally posted to a forum that "J" belonged to, and he spoke directly to other members. And we do know that this series is coming, after all. It's not a total immersion experience like MH was.

If it is a gamejack, I hope they let people know since it IS on THEIR forum.

They said they were posting the series on the MH channel because it's more popular than the THAC one. I think that means that a video uploaded on a seperate channel entirely means that this is a gamejack. Why wouldn't it be released through the MH website? There are fans (like me) that are not part of the forums, and THAC, while wanting to reward the fans on the forums, probably wouldn't want to have anything major only acessable to those on the forums. That's just bad marketing.

Personally, I think this is the same gamejacker behind The Windmill Diaries. The style and I believe the font are the same.

Eh. The font is pretty generic (another reason I think it's a jack), and nothing about it screams Windmill to me. This is pretty subtle and mostly stays within the confines of things that make sense to what we know and expect. The Windmill Diaries was horribly out of place in MH and was about as subtle as a nuclear explosion.
