Update

Will be updating top post tomorrow. Got sidetracked by PM chat (and PM PMs!); sorry for the delay.

Hey, Phaedra. I was just looking at my PM box and it looks like my PM asking to be in this lottery may not have been sent. And I'm apparently not smart enough to find the button to send it. So if it didn't make it to you and you haven't finished the lottery, please throw my name in the ring. Thanks a lot.

Mine shows the same thing.
Wasn't sure if that meant she hadn't gotten to it yet or there's some issue w/ the PM system.

Yeah, mine is still in the Outbox and there are 3 possible reasons.

1. Your PM box is full
2. The PM system is broken
3. I'm a moron

My money is on 3 Wink

Sorry!

Sorry guys -- I have a million and one PMs. I'm sure as soon as I delete some, yours will come in.

I'm trying to save a cat with leukemia, and between that and meeting the PMs, it's been a little crazy and I've let this lag. I will be catching up very shortly...probably tonight or tomorrow morning, since work will be slow.

Saving a cat from CANCER and other real world resposibilities are not more important that us getting free stuff. Sounds like someone needs to get her priorities straight. Wink

Obviously, take your time.

Well, I have lulls.

There's not much we can do at this point except wait -- feline leukemia is caused by a virus (go figure) and there's still a chance his immune system could beat it.

Unfortunately, his old owner didn't wait to find out...just dumped him (a gorgeous, playful purebred violet point Siamese! With the sweetest personality and the best manners I've ever seen -- I could just smack people sometimes). So, we're trying to find a home for him and in the mean time keep him separated from our cats to keep them safe.

The thing is, even though he has the virus, and even if his immune system can't kill it, he could still be perfectly healthy for another 7-12 years, which is a good lifespan. He just can't live with other cats.

But everyone we know who's interested in adopting already has cats.

<sigh> It's not looking good for the poor little guy. We can't keep him forever, and our entire neighborhood has been trying to find him a home.

Alright given that the PM box is full. I've got 26 DVD's to lotto out. That will probally be wittled down to about 20. I don't know how much that is compared to what was given earlier, but from 3-10 to 26 was just too much for me Very Happy

Bring 'em on!

Oh, wait, you probably mean "private messages" not puppetmasters.

Oh - sorry I didn't mention this before - I am willing to pay postage. It'd be the least I can do out of gratitude. Smile

I love how I disappeared from the list after I offered to pay postage! Wink

I love Phaedra and Kali lots though! Very Happy

Take care of your cat. I'm an animal person personally, and I totally understand how much time sick animals require. My first dog had 2 years of kidney failure problems, but I loved helping out.

Edited to soothing blue. Smile

Oops. You must not have PM'd me during the last list purge.

Ooh, kidney failure is nasty stuff. Your dog was lucky to have you.
