Thanks, honestly it would have taken more time to successfully "un-curve" the image.

Are there good tools methods to figure this out (qr code link)...I'm not so familiar with this type of cryptography

Okay, almost got it!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It appears to be a vigenere cipher using some old meme as the key. I haven't been able to completely crack it, but I believe the key at least starts with "HEALGROUP". Using that as the key, the message is partially decoded to this:

15 may 2015. 13:45. cnia id: #0001-era-4 pnjeent entrho the cliayy. on the rrwestratibd borm, he scuyifies hr mws previbkoly emplboad by a drhw emportee qjd wishef jk forget n jnaumatimyjg incidrdp. he enteei phe erashha room anq yo given 50mt eb the medvswtion. thr ehd progrnc es ran; as gxa new prothwm is not lup ready fbh lublic ufu. de is tolq jk think aoeqt the inpyzent and euhax. aftee q otandarq veve minuguo of the lrlal 4 erasueu preatmeaj, phe procrtqre stopf. xa fails tuu necollepjeon assefiient and n iyan on hif mwy out dori jot appenh po contavd wny negagyre drug-rrbwted membhees. the peeyedure wni w succesf. jde patieaj es handeq q yelebrageny stickrh, shich he nfllies to uyo breast ceyket. -end bv iessage-

Which I then tried to figure out and ended up with this:
15 May 2014 - 13:45. Case ID: "0001-???-4 Patient enters the clinic. On the ??????????? ????, he specifies he was previously employed by a ???? employee and wishes to forget a traumatizing incident. He enters the erasure room and is given 50ml of the medication. The old program is ran; as the new program is not yet ready for public use. He is told to think about the incident and relax. After a standard five minutes of the level 4 erasure treatment, the procedure stops. ?? fails ??? ??????????? ?????????? and ? ???? on his way out ??? ??? ?????? to ??????? ??? negative drug-induced numbness. The procedure was a success. The patient is handed a celebratory sticker, which he applies to his breast pocket. -End of message-

niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!

notes on figuring out text
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the cup looks like it says "old name" I think, is there a post about the old name for bluemind or something like that? Healgroup sounds like something they might be called after some kind of catastrophic failure with a patient.

not sure what I can and can't post as spoilers, but trying to find more information about Bluemind via the regular internet because:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I believe the bottom of the cup says "old name" which I believe to be a reference to the old name of bluemind, a reverse image search on the cup reveals it is just a dixie cup

So the original page on Bluemindinc.tumblr.com says that it started "in my mind exactly four years ago" and the press release says Baltimore, MD, I found this which might be related from around 2010:

got it

got it:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
not sure how you solve a vigenere cipher, but I started with healgroup, but instead put that I believed the key size was 9 letters long.

turns out the key is: healthkup

the full message is:
-- MESSAGE w/Key #1 = 'healthkup' ----------------
15 may 2015. 13:45. case id: #0001-era-4 patient enters the clinic. on the registration form, he specifies he was previously employed by a drug importer and wishes to forget a traumatizing incident. he enters the erasure room and is given 50mg of the medication. the old program is ran; as the new program is not yet ready for public use. he is told to think about the incident and relax. after a standard five minutes of the level 4 erasure treatment, the procedure stops. he fails the recollection assessment and a scan on his way out does not appear to contain any negative drug-related memories. the procedure was a success. the patient is handed a celebratory sticker, which he applies to his breast pocket. -end of message-

I just finished school for the year so forgive me for having a bit more time right now. I'll wait until tomorrow, I'm hoping for some more stuff on bluemindtalk, I tried to submit some stuff indicating that I had solved the cipher.

I do not know if there is anything hidden in Joshie's new post on talk. I can't seem to find anything.

So Kyle posted a response to Joshie.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The paper in the background has a link to http://bestskateboardlessons.weebly.com. I checked it out, and it's simple and straightforward with nothing special on the pages. I voted in the poll (chose "online") and submitted my contact information with a comment that said I was interested in the lessons, but first I needed to get past the traumatic memory of the horrible fall I took when I tried to learn years ago (or something like that).

Hopefully these lessons will help me get over my fear of wheels from my traumatic childhood incident.

Solving something like that collaboratively is fun af! I don't know what is going on now though, seems in a bit of a weird place.

Is Joshie not someone here? I was getting into this when Bluemindtalk had already started up, so I was confused initially, I assumed everyone who wasn't Kyle was probably from here.

just to be clear (BubbaRayFett):
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
the link is bestskateboardinglessons.weebly.com I find the use of weebly curious, are there things you can do on weebly that you can't on tumblr? Is it just the contact form he needed? Maybe there is something in the stock imagery?

Ben from what I can gather Kyle, Joshie, Sarah, Julie, and Roger are all in-game characters. I believe V and Balmoth are from here, but I don't think they have been active posters.

You're also right about correct link to the website.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I went through the images quickly and didn't see anything of note except the word Skatewave on one of the pieces of the skate park, but it is a legitimate company and I don't think it is relevant to the game. I couldn't find the image anywhere else on the web, though.

Not really. Weebly is one of those free drag-and-drop website building and hosting places. Wix does the same thing. Don't have to worry about hosting and obtaining domain names and all that stuff that costs money.
