Caveat: Given that earlier today Mr. Nigma posted the comment "[WIPING IN PROGRESS]" in the style of the Agency, there's no guarantee that this puzzle/message is actually from Callum. Up to you to decide how you wish to spend your Saturday, obviously. (Personally I'd accept it at face value, for various [META] reasons...)

Would you please share how you solved that puzzle? I've been working on it for hours - with constant child interruptions - and came up with something totally different. I'd really like to improve my skills. Smile

Sure! It's pretty straightforward, actually -- especially if you solved the ARG's first word search, which was similar in format. (You may have joined us later than that, if I remember correctly.)

The instructions tell you to find "18 words to RELAX with..." There are indeed 18 such words hidden in the puzzle, both forward and backward, horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. Here's the complete list:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
AMENABLE CASUAL CHEERFUL
COMPLAISANT COMPOSED FLEXIBLE
IMPASSIVE INDOLENT INDULGENT
INFORMAL LIBERAL NATURAL
PLACID RELAXED SEDATE
SERENE SPIRITED TOLERANT

Once you've found and circled all 18 words...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
...you simply read the letters that are left uncircled, from left to right and top to bottom.

Thank you! Smile I did join the party after the first word search, and when I went back to look at that solve, the discussion seemed incomplete, as though y'all were continuing the conversation from a chat window somewhere else, so I decided I should just try to figure out the current puzzle as best I could. It turns out I wasn't as off as I thought, but I forgot that diagonals don't have to start at the top, bottom, or corners, and thus missed "casual" altogether. To get eighteen, I had "coco", 'cause that's something I relax with, but that's probably just me. Wink Of course, remembering that "cocoa" actually has an "a" should have given me a clue. D,oh! Embarassed

If the delay is real, then I hope Dagada can still make it. Otherwise, we'll have to scramble. I, myself, won't be anywhere near a computer on June 6, so I won't be able to join the fun at all. Sad I hope no one is inconvenienced to the point that we lose more people.

Ok - this is good in a way as I have much more time next weekend to investigate concrete cows.

24 hours until creation becomes stagnation
Pleas,e if you haven't created a planet - based idea for me, do.
If you have, encourage those who haven't.
It may only seem like pieces of art to you, but for me [and Callum by extension] it is our life and soul - we will be using them to power the ideas you are helping us create and release into the world!

Help us, and soon - Juno cannot be kept waiting.

These don't have to be fancy, or terribly time consuming. For example, I made a collage of scientific and mythic Neptune images - adding a picture of a baby goat of ours named Neptune for fun - and emailed it to Lucy. There are several cool planets that haven't been claimed yet, like Saturn, Uranus, and Mercury. Don't feel like you have to create something museum-worthy. Smile

Wholeheartedly agreed! You can see my own contribution at http://matchthememory.com/FourthPlanet.

Apologies for the double-post, but:

Not that anyone suspects you of anything intentionally nefarious -- at least, not so far as I know -- but because no one knows what it is exactly that you will be doing. Apologies for the triple-post, but: It looks as if there were consequences to our failure to submit all six projects:

On Facebook, Zarafa wrote:
With Lucy now weakened as well, and our thanks to all of you for that for not supplying her with any more power, she should be able to be more compliant to return to the agency.

And over on ~lucylime Lucy confirms that she can now do nothing more than email until we figure out how to free Callum from the Agency (if that is what we decide to do).

Meeting on Saturday, eh?

Well, that sucks Sad I was very curious to see what would be done with the art projects and to learn who were the "children" Lucy mentioned. But I guess we couldn't force anyone to create something if they didn't want to, didn't trust Lucy, wanted Lucy captured, didn't have time, weren't interested, etc. etc. Although, I did submit two art projects, so maybe Lucy can do with 5 instead of 6? *wistful thinking* lol

At any rate, with Lucy's power gone, we really need to get together with planning this meeting. Are we going to help Lucy and Callum or the Agency?

I vote we help Lucy & Callum, because I have a problem with the Agency placing value on "compliance". As for planning the meeting, we really need Dagada to actively participate in the planning process, which he hasn't seemed able to do. Dagada, do you have time for any of this?

On fb I said
Quote:
Zarafa: is the damage that might be caused something similar to: Like a (Felderi) moth to (not a sun goddess but a big ball of) flame?

and received the following pm in reply:
Quote:
Pia, you have noted Callum's secondary name's meaning - good - though look a bit further if you want to know how we are all linked. Its not just moths that flutter by...

I've not had time to look further into this but initial thoughts = butterfly, chrysalis, Lucy + Callum + the agency are just parts of a whole ("illness"?)

Also,on LittleDoveCallum something I don't understand is Z says his job is to "get you on board and help bring Callum and Lucy back to the agency, alive, unharmed and able to help us undo the damage they may cause in the interim". Does this mean they don't have Callum anymore? Have we always been talking to Zarafa on Callum's fb?

Interesting! The part about "flutter by" makes me feel like you're on the right track about butterflies and maybe even metamorphosis. So Lucy isn't a sun goddess, but she must be the source of some powerful flame. But it also begs the question as to whether the power Lucy wields may be dangerous to Callum (as the Agency seems to imply). I remember Lucy said that Callum has never seen the real her, so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

My understanding is that we were talking with Callum up until his fb was taken over by the Agency. After that, I got the impression that he went on the run/into hiding while attempting to arrange a meeting with us. I think that's why Zarafa keeps referring to both of them as rogue agents. I could be wrong, though.

At this point, I don't trust any of the three parties involved in this craziness, but I would also have to vote to help out Lucy + Callum by getting him free. I mean, a call for help is what got us all into this anyway. Zarafa's latest fb post seems to mean that the Agency doesn't know there's still going to be a meeting? So maybe it's not necessary for us protect against them being there anymore? If that's the case, Dagada could simply carry the dove sign and speak to Callum freely. This all assuming that there's even going to be a meeting, at the same time and place. Hopefully Dagada can help us out soon.

In the mean time, I'm considering sending Zarafa a message to make a deal.....as part of Lucy's Membership, we could be of some worth to the Agency. Perhaps this is a good time to infiltrate as double agents by using the lore of leading them to the weakened Lucy (who I suspect they want more than Callum)? Think it's worth a shot?
