I am really freaking out now because right after the uuuuu section and shadowtalk1 signed off I got a phone call! What's weird is that I never gave my phone # when I registered! Exclamation Exclamation Shocked Shocked The call was like the others have described so I know it was in-game. It was an electronic/synthesized voice repeating the phrase "grey weathers". I'm not sure if there was anything else because it was noisy on my end and the caller was low and muffled. My hair is still standing on edge!

If you have a static IP, then the PMs could have done a trace, and gotten your number that way. Not that hard to do, if you know what you're doing..

Re:ShadowTalk Voicemail

I too got a call from ST1 after our IM... it was on my cell however.... voicemail... from what I can understand mostly the grey weather stuff... seems like towards the end there was something else but I can't make it out... interesting note like most cell phones mine has caller ID, logs missed and received calls, etc.... nothing was logged.... as if the call never came in.... ooooooohhhhhh Cool

So far, shadowtalk1 has only appeared in AIM.

I don't do YIM or MSN, so I can't say for certain whether he/she/it has appeared in those venues as well. I haven't seen any messages in IRC.

My encounter happen in AIM.
I am not sure if my IP is static or not so I wouldn't know how to check it out.
My brother suggested just asking the PMs about the phone number.

Static IP: do you use a cablemodem or a similar like technology and never turn the connection off, are you logged onto a Lan-network where the network server is always on??

But yeah, asking the Pms is the quickest way to get an answer.

I'm cable, but I reset it about once a week.

My shadowCall came on my cell phone, which I gave at registration.

I was bored so decided to look through shawdowtalk1's messages for more clues. I don't think I found any but I figured out what all the number sequences are. I thought they looked kinda familiar (yeah right!!!) Rolling Eyes

Well, duh. I don't think anyone here missed the obvious reference to the Euler characteristics of polytopes. But thanks for stating the obvious.

(Man, how did you manage to track all those down? And how much are we paying math geeks to come up with things like that....)

Not sure if you posted those in order but it's interesting to note that if you take the "main" idea or recognizable word in each, it sort of comes close to greywethers.net....esp. if the one or two that don't fit may be known by something else or termed differently.

Numerators of coefficients of Green function for cubic lattice
G

Ramsey numbers
R

Theta series of D_4 lattice; Fourier coefficients of Eisenstein series E_{gamma,2}
E

(Product of digits of n) is divisible by (sum of digits of n), where 0's are not permitted.
?

Related to Weber functions
W

Decimal expansion of electron mass (mass units)
E

A ternary continued fraction
T

The `eban' numbers (no letter `e' in these numbers)
E

Clouds with n points; undirected 2-regular labeled graphs; or n X n symmetric matrices with (0,1) entries, trace 0 and all row sums 2
?

pseudo-Smarandache numbers. Smallest number m such that m(m+1)/2 is divisible by n.
S

Narayana-Zidek-Capell numbers
N

Euler characteristics of polytopes
E

Thue-Morse sequence: let A_k denote the first 2^k terms; then A_0 = 0, and for k >= 0, A_{k+1} = A_k B_k, where B_k is obtained from A_k by interchanging 0's and 1's.
T

Granted I'm fitting the puzzle to the data..lol..I just thought it was interesting...
