Also, I'm not necessarily against the parallel universe theory. I'm against it being a default theory. It's not an easy plot device to do well, and I think both a lot of fans and a lot of series/game creators don't really think this through.

isn't THAC their full time job now? Why are these updates taking basically as long as MH took to update shit? Im honestly pretty dissapointed in this series already.

Nobody is going to stay interested in some weird website that makes no sense if its updated every 3 weeks. This is pretty lame

This wait really is killing hype. My hope is that they are planning and preparing enough in advance that they'll be able to have a regular release schedule once the series starts.

My sentiment exactly. I cannot believe that the now four of them working full time on THAC only make a 5min website update every 3 weeks to their main project. Maybe they are really waiting until some code will be found/cracked?

Nobody wants to try and solve a code that has the possibility of being unsolvable at the moment. Thats why we are all waiting. If THAC wants to wait for us to solve something, they either might as well stop this series now, or let us know now that there is something we need to figure out.

Do you guys honestly think that those blog posts are all they've been working on? The series hasn't started yet. We don't even know how close to starting it is, but just because we aren't seeing the fruits of their work doesn't mean they aren't working. Maybe they aren't, and maybe it'll turn out they've just been wasting a lot of time, but is it not also possible that they've tried to learn from MH's mistakes and do more scripting and filming ahead of time (thus meaning less wait times between episodes once the series actually begins)?

Seriously, it's not like they at any point actually indicated when the new series was supposed to start. We jumped the gun and thought that's what May 22 meant, but for all we know all this is just some very early teaser material. It's highly unlikely that the stuff that's been happening on marblehornets.com has been the sole focus of their attention.

They also seemed to be waiting till everyone had a comic character completed--Joseph just launched his.

I don't know why some people are getting dejected so damn fast. I wanna see the new series too, but there's no reason to start whining about "disappointments" yet. The site "hacks" are setting something up (and at a far faster rate than MH updated in its last year-plus). Patience is something we can afford just a little more of.

The only other significant date I can think of this month is June 20th. Maybe... Neutral

June 19th is the day that "Jay" made the Something Awful post about Alex's "pretentious film student fare."

EDIT: Holy palindromes: 1001 posts, y'all, fuckin' A!

The filmed a few scenes of the movie and added them as special features on the Season Three DVD/ Blu-Ray. There are three in total (unless I missed an Easter egg somewhere on the Blu-Ray), and they're totally worth the purchase price if you're on the fence about getting it.
