Aha! Endzo was definitely on the right track with the similar texts. Once I broke up the English strings into 5-digit groups for comparison, I realized how close they are:

Yeah, given I only saw it once yesterday on the recently played list when I woke up, I was beginning to wonder if I really saw it or perhaps there was an error and it was removed from playlist.

It's another reversed audio so I'm enclosing the proper direction here. It's still pretty slow and distorted. Noticably there are dead air spots along the way. The SSTV noise is regularly playing in the background. Is anyone who is able to get SSTV working able to pull anything out of that? I've tried to use SSTV unsucessfully on normal past broadcasts, so I'm not likely to get anything out of this one for sure.

Here's a slowed down version, but I don't know how easy it will be to read the SSTV portion. Supposedly SSTV is pretty resilient to distortion, so it might be possible if there's a way to completely reverse all of these changes to the audio. Even then, I wonder if it's just the SSTV images for the new players.

I think I missed an error in Forecast 12. Thou was reported as moving "westerly", but moved SW. This time, Thou actually moved into a Rough storm and survived.

Butterfly Wriggler is the silence at 4C#.

Forecast thoughts/questions:

No one has landed on a butterfly, so that could be interesting. WhatIsTruth is the closest to Butterfly Signora, which could be even more interesting... or deadly.
What possible goals are there for Forecast? Last one alive? Collect X tanks? Land somewhere specific?
What does setting the Clay to slight/moderate/rough do?
What is the purpose of calling in storms, other than to kill(?) many players at once? Forecasts 14 and 15 will be Slight storms, so all Slight storm locations should probably be avoided.

I think the object of the forecast is to die and increase your APL#, allowing you to "Ascend". It's possible it's a small reflection of the life cycles of souls, given that we all have ID's that transfer over to new call signs after death.

APL is only going up on successful confrontations with others, I believe, not dying. If any folks in butterfly status right now can chime in that would help.

I don't know if its worth mention, but the original group of players who had been given profiles were given a stat relating to butterflies collected (0/8). Maybe APL is related to that old butterfly stat?
