 		Possible Trailhead Black and White Test
numbers letters and black and white box
Got an email on the 31st of July. Letter head read "Opportunity for you in 88"

Now, I'm very new to this type of stuff so I'm looking for some help in this. If you could help that would be great! I'd love to share this with people, so anything would be welcome.

While looking this over a little closer, I could somewhat decipher the message at the top. So far what I have is

"keupia in the tenth month"

as you can see i don't know if that's right, but i don't know the first part. but upon looking closer, could it be parts of pie???

and...am i looking for a specific number, a phone number?

It's a type of extinct octopus, "Octo" = 8.

The only thing that I can think of that relates to "8" is binary code, but I've tried "odds being even", "evens being odd", frontwards and backways, and I'm coming up empty. Just when it looks promising I hit a brick wall.

No luck decoding them, yet. Things to note:
* they come in sets of 8 digits.
* the digits are all in the range 0-7 (with exceptions).
* the last set would be octal if the trailing 8's are to be ignored.
* we can ignore the single 8 delimiters.
* there are 105 full sets of eight, plus that last set.
* there are some repeated partial sequences.

 		yesterday i think....i got a private message from i'm guessing the PM telling me to find a translator online because octo was a type of language, and damn right it is....

however, while trying to decode it, it didn't seem like it was getting anywhere when trying to decode it into text, so i think maybe i can try to fully decode it into binary then go from there, not sure lol...

if this has a lot of math i'm gonna cry....i hate math lmao

go on the 88 website and go to contact section and it says the main "social networker" is callum felderi.

callum felderi has his own facebook page too, linking to the 88
