Maybe we'll understand more about it in the future?? It just looks like trees and a CD to me... but what does it mean? Nothing? Maybe it was just supposed to be creepy, I don't know. What bothers me is that it reminds me of the Matrix code

The gif is like if it was covered with lettes/numbers/something like that.

The background may be trees, but I'm more than positive the branchlike thing swooping in from the left is a hand with fingers grabbing at that other object.

I'm now so sure that's a disk now. Take a close look at the edge away from the hand, just behind what would be the center of the disk. The edge curves inward--I don't think that's distortion.

This is probably the first time on this forum where I feel like I've contributed something worthwhile.

What does this all mean though? Is it just hinting at the setting? Maybe they've updated with the times and are using CD's instead of tapes? (Joke, I know that they said that they wouldnt do found footage)

I believe this image is of the school in clear lake South Dakota. Google maps doesn't have street view on that street, but many streets in this town seem to have angled parking like in the picture, and some sidewalks go directly to the street instead of having grass between the sidewalk and street. The school looks like the only large enough building in this town to fit the picture.

Also these coordinates are to the southern most point on Clear Lake
