Possible Fear The Walking Dead ARG?! Dialed this number... Hey everyone, its been a bit since I posted on here but whenever I find something ARGish I get excited and want to share it with you guys.
Call this number:
(912) 307-3075
There's an option to be alerted to future updates, and the number DOES call back as it did once today.
Why do I think this might be an ARG and not just a viral thing?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Well it does seem more viral than ARG right now, but there's places to enter user ID, which makes me think maybe I need to find it?
What do you guys think?

No one is going to call that number unless you explain where you found it. Just saying...

Which appear to be the central hubs of the game. People are getting military codes as well - videos on insta appear to have more hidden stuff.
There's a good bit to go over, I'll have to check into it after work. What do you guys make of it?

My meta nonsense:
So, wait.... Is this a fan made game and Kirkman was a trailhead target? Or are the main people who "got the packages" (such as Kirkman) part of the pm team? The packages seemed to be sent to some really well known, high profile "fans" which is cool but, Kirkman got one? It's like the PM team was afraid no one would do anything with their packages and put a plant front and center, biggest plant they could get.
And why Woodbury? I mean, that's a dead plot line now, in both comic and show. Pardon the pun....
I'm only part was thru watching that YouTube link in post above, but it is hysterical to me that he said "9 squares, 2 options each" yet he still had to count them up to get to 18. ROFL

TBH I'm not positive Kirkman was the trailhead. That's just where I first noticed this whole thing. Maybe this whole game is a way to connect the past TWD story to FTWD.
That being said, I just got a phone call back from the number.
It was basically the same intro that plays when you call with the following afterward
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Kilo Bravo Radar Alpha 57
Not sure what it means.

I don't think this is fan made. Seems more like marketing. Got my call today, did you press 1 or 2? It woke me up so I wasn't thinking.ok so pressing 2 you need an name or code to get the message. There was an earlier message that gave clues to the date November 30th

kbra57? Not a clue yet
there's also areyoupatientzero.Com

yhe letters are 11 18 1 57. Another phone number?
so I recalled the emergency broadcast, pressed 2 tried, 1415 and 66, as on the patient zero site nova omega shows as alert code in a flash in the ticker. It tells me to press 0 for help, which it didn't do when I tried 1118157 , however I was only told operators were busy, twice after some hold music then it went to the emergency tone and cut out.

(and my meta response):
By "the show" do you mean "The Walking Dead"? Something which has run its course on that show could still be used in the new spin-off
coming this Fall
premiering tomorrow night on AMC called "Fear the Walking Dead" which I believe will take place earlier in the timeline of the mythos.

Kirkman has repeatedly said there shouldn't be any crossover between the two shows. I'm a huge fan, I'm looking forward to seeing the beginning of the walker apocalypse. Fear the Walking Dead takes place in LA as the whole thing starts. But even so, considering it took TWD crew years to get out of Georgia, I find doubt that the LA crew will end up in Georgia before Woodbury is kaput.
It's clever whatever it al is. I just was twitching about a package being "sent to Kirkman" because he's a plant. It's like they didn't trust the audience enough think they would do what needed to be done without him starting it LOL

So.... I feel like I am not being understood and either I look like i'm shitting on the experience here, which I'm not, or that I don't understand what is going on, which I do {as much as we can know right now}. I am wordy, and need to explain things to death {PNI} so I'm going to waste some time right now and do so. Prepare for a boring TL;DR

LOL yeah no, i get that. I got that before. that doesn't make my statement moot. There is still some velveta in the cheese here... That Kirkman is so meta, yet pretending to be a "player" is a cheesy game mechanic. It is why I didn't start following along at first when I saw him first post about it in his twitter feed last week. When I posted above about no one calling the number, it wasn't because I wasn't aware, because i was aware enough to get it was related to Kirkman's tweets, but it was because the OP should have posted the info, as we generally like to know here how a solve or trailhead is found. The trailhead was the packages, I was never saying Kirkman was the trailhead, I was saying he "got one" which is to say it's his IP and i seriously doubt he's not somehow meta-involved. And that makes it cheesy. If Spielberg had said in some interview during The Beast "I think there is something wrong with the movie poster" or something dumb like that... basically pointing people in the direction of how to play, something that the trailhead itself alone should do, then it would have been cheesy too.
Kirkman's tweets are guiding the players because the PM team doesn't have enough trust in the audience to that they can find their way through OR because there isn't enough faith int he camp that it can be done without guidance. AND instead of inventing a char to go along with it, they took a meta and tried to flip it. If this was any other general camp, and any other IP, we would not be as forgiving.
My comments about using woodbury was meant to be spec, and not related to my complaints about using Kirkman in the above mentioned manor. I am a HUGE fan of TWD, and really want this to reconcile with the show.

Ok that's great, so if you're done poo pooing all over it can we just talk about the viral now? There are new clues to something in 5 days, and the patient zero site asks for an email so I'm guessing more there
