There are now. I have had a technical problem with the torrent file.
Also, all persons that have downloaded or are downloading the previous version of the CD are encouraged to switch to this one. The Torrent clients should update the files you have already downloaded with the new ones that I have added.
Please let me know of any difficulties related to the download.

I am a genius.
Is it an ISO or just raw files?

If you have burned a DVD that plays like a normal DVD, please post your procedure. I downloaded the files but I cannot seem to get a DVD to burn properly.
Thanks

Raw files, there's no need to make it an ISO. It's not any kind of special format, bootable, schmootable, or anything - it's just 480 MB of MP3s and images and a Flash menu that's cooler than the DVD one. :]

I downloaded the full DVD and used Nero using the DVD Video template to burn it to DVD. I dragged it over to the files window and it generated the DVD. The burned DVD works fine on my laptop; I may try it tonight in a regular DVD player.

Binarius, thanx for that. I don't have a DVD burner so I chose the CD version and I must say it was a quick d/l and it's great. Don't even need to burn it just open the index file in IE and have at it. I've been seeding for 8 hours while I was at work but will be shutting down shortly after this post. I will try and seed this more tomorrow so everybody can get this. A great addition to my lil ILB and HALO collection.

binarius,
i can't quite tell from your description of the cd version--does it contain the complete contents of the dvd (except with new flash menu) or is it a "lite" version?

The DVD should be redone as ISO, BIN/CUE, NRG, MDF/MDS etc. Not everyone is as technically adept as you might like to believe.

Contains: all audio clips, all crew photo images, all Widow's Journey and audio progression slideshows, and credits. That is the DVD's content.
Additionally, the version I'll release this evening (in about 3 hours) will contain additional material from the ilovebees site - crew roster, crew photos, some photos taken from the forums, crew phone audio recordings, and whatever goodies I find.
Jerricho: the DVD should be playable in any DVD player, so indeed it should be image-formatted. The CD I am torrenting is just data, it needs no extra care.

Sparky with a message here. Apparently he's screwed something up.
To anyone that is downloading my ILB CD: the torrent has been updated; please stop your download, reload the http://maxxx.is-a-geek.org/ILBCD.torrent file, and continue downloading. Those that have already finished it, please start the download again with the new torrent file. It will update one file and download some new material.

Just a tip for anyone without a DVD burner or who wants to watch it on your computer and doesn't have DVD software already.
You SHOULD be able to play the downloaded DVD version with Windows Media Player. I have Media Player 9 and I also have the DVD codec from some other DVD player software installed, so I can't absolutely guarantee this will work for everyone or other versions, but here's what I did:
Fire up WMP
Go to File/Open
Navigate to the ILB directory
Change files fo type to any file (*.*)
Select VIDEO_TS.VOB
That should do it

Hmm...unfortunately it looks like WMP does not come with a DVD codec. I dug up this free one from a link off ArsTechnica: http://www.elecard.com/products/mpeg2decoder.shtml
I haven't tried it, so I can't promise that it works, but it PROBABLY should be as easy as installing it and then using Windows Media Player as the frontend to view DVDs. Any brave soul wanna give it a try and report back?
There's also a player/decoder combo version of the same thing at digital-digest: http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/downloads/elecard_mpeg2.html
Says it won't play DVDs but should play .vob files, which is what you've got if you downloaded the ILB DVD via .torrent. If you go with this one, you may be able to use WMP to play actual DVDs as well, I dunno. It's basically the same decoder as the first link but with a player frontend included.

So, anyone know if BitTornado is any better at, "It will update one file and download some new material.", than Shareaza, which is apparently too stupid to do this? This will now be the third time I try to get this torrent and failed... Doesn't help that my system was always a tad flaky about internet access and tends to hang up on me 8-10 hours after I connect all the time, drives me nuts on large files like this. Sigh...

Please make sure that Shareaza is saving the files into the same directory with the new torrent that it did with the previous one. Then, force a re-check of the data. It should indicate about 90% of data completion.
Or, utilize Azureus which does it automatically.

What about an actual DVD? Sorry, I know I'm going to look like a loser here, but I've got a crappy connection at home, and the torrent download is really confusing to me.
Have we lost all hope of actually getting one of the ACTUAL DVD's that were given away? I'd really like one of the actual disks.
Is this still possible? Do we have ANY kind of ETA or know if they're going to want to send these out, still?
