Since the last video, the fortunes have been bothering me.

the fortunes AND the voice of the journal have been directing noah to go to the boardwalk. that's obviously the case. why? It's too soon because Noah doesn't have Karl's journal. Why is firebrand trying to get Noah to go to the boardwalk now?

What if we're asking ourselves the wrong questions to begin with?

I remember back in the days of formspring that the observer said the questions are more important than the answers. then some other guy reasoned out that it was because the answers are merely finite, while we can have an infinite number of questions to ask.

We've been so focused on asking ourselves, "why isn't the journal opening?"

but that question is far too normal! Normalcy left this building a long time ago. we need to focus on a different question to ask that could have the answer we need.

taking the boardwalk into account, we shouldn't be asking ourselves how does the journal unlock, but When or where does the journal unlock? what time and location does the journal unlocking process take place?

My guess on the location is definitely the boardwalk because the 'special properties' sound interesting.

Firebrand has been giving us the answers to unlock the journal and we never knew.

I really doubt Noah sent it to them... Most likely Firebrand.
I don't think Noah could have flown up from Florida, somehow found the hidden location where they were staying, sneaked a coded note into the very room they are staying in without them noticing, then hid the money under a park bench.

It seems like Firebrand's overly roundabout way of pursuing any objective.
If it was Noah, why not just leave the money for them to find? Or hand it to them personally?

Eta: Judging form the responses he gave, I think Firebrand was doing something, and Observer snuck in and did something nasty.
