I found more hidden text (yet again thanks to being on mobile) On the Church of Oblivion site.

All right, so I still have not been able to get an audience to do Task Two. Too much stuff happening in my personal life, my friends and families personal lives that for me to ask them to take 5 minutes of their time to come and watch me burn something arises unwarranted questions about me and how I spend my time. I've told them it's a contest thing, but their response is either "So f**king what? Don't do it" or "Focus on the real world, not on this online bulls**t", because you know, the real world is so much more fun than, you know, anything! Confused

Quite frankly, me explaining this to anyone has become a major pain in my a**. So, I'm probably going to film myself do it in the next few days without an audience and hope for the best.

No worries, I'm in the same boat. I'm pretty sure the game will go on just fine if you do it without an audience. I'd say go for it.

Honestly I'm probably not even going to do it solo. I'm really not one for posting videos anyway. I like when I apply for jobs that I don't have a digital record of me burning things because a church dedicated to oblivion told me to. Wink

The Church is strange, but I don't think they have any future vision. At least, none that's been shown yet. According to Nate's Twitter, he started school a week ago, so this happened last week.

I tried it on everything and struck gold by applying it to the Church of Oblivion website. Leads to this:

Ya, I've been trying to fiddle with the text on 'Synopsis' all day just about. I think it might decode in Base64 into an image or something [if that's a thing that can be done], but I've yet to get on a computer to test that theory.

Very interesting. I'll poke around with it. So far basic attempts to translate it haven't given me anything interesting. It has all the characters in the base64 alphabet for sure.

Nice, I appreciate the back story.

Also interesting the line breaks from the encoded synopsis have been removed. Perhaps to emphasize that it's one long string, as opposed to self contained smaller ones.

Still can't make heads or tails of it though.
