 r1 trip holders: initial responses

This is a copy and paste from the thread over at RK:
http://www.redkore.com/tel_forums/viewtopic.php?p=438
I think it's important that we start doing this if we're going to solve anything. As more and more people get the package it's important that they post their responses here.

Marc's post begins below.
----------------------------------

for those who have spent some time with an r1 trip package, i think it would be very helpful to share your initial responses with the rest of the community.

some questions to consider:

(1) how long have you had your trip?

(2) what were you expecting when you ordered your trip?

(3) how did you feel when you first opened the package?

(4) has your attitude towards TELEPORT changed much since you've started exploring your trip?

(5) do you feel that having the trip is an important part of the TELEPORT experience?

Well, lets begin.

I'll start by answering marc's questions.
Quote:
(1) how long have you had your trip?
Although I have been trying to figure this RK thing out since I registered on May 4th, I didn't actually receive the trip package until Monday (i think) of last week.. around May 12th. So i've only had the package for a little under a week.

Quote:
(2) what were you expecting when you ordered your trip?
At the time, I wasn't sure. I had expected that TELEPORT (tpt) was some kind of a game, a puzzle of sorts. We have been trying to "figure out" this puzzle over here and over at unf, and I think we've made some progress.

However, as of late, I'm not sure if we can call it progress. Marc has told us, again and again, that we need to find "our own path" if we are going to unlock the trip. My latest efforts have been towards trying to figure that out, rather than the cards themselves. I know that I have to find some way to "involve" the cards in my life, but I just can't figure anything out.

Quote:
(3) how did you feel when you first opened the package?
The cards are very cool. Cool When I first opened the trip package I was pretty excited. Seeing the cards on the internet is one thing, actually having them is another thing entirely. Marc has told us that having the cards is pivotal to unlocking the trip. It is the only way to do it.. and I believe this. There is something "to" the cards.. I don't know what, but whenever I look at them I can feel it… in the back of my brain, somewhere. I look at the cards and something sticks out at me… something so glaringly obvious that I miss it every single time. Having the trip package is very odd, something you'll notice if and when you get it.

Quote:
(4) has your attitude towards TELEPORT changed much since you've started exploring your trip?
My attitude has changed considerably towards tpt. In the beginning, I assumed this to be some kind of game. Now, I'm not so sure. I know that there is something behind all of this, but I don't know what. Marc has hinted that there is more.. and that after we have found the portal, the "adventure" will have only just begun. Marc has been hinting that there is something more to come.. something that will happen after we have "unlocked" the trip.

I view this now as a challenge, and like any challenges, I won't stop until I have overcome it. But something about tpt is very eerie.. I don't know why. Part of me is unsure about figuring it out. Marc has said that we can't be told the answer because it would be meaningless.. we have to find it ourselves. I'm sure you guys all remember that "paths are subjective, portals are objective." Once we discover this "answer" or "truth" or whatever you want to call it, I have the feeling that something entirely new will be revealed to us. What, I don't know.. nor do I know what the significance of it will be. It might be something really cool, it might be insignificant… maybe we'll wake up in a little tube with pipes stuck in us and machines flying around and marc will pick us up in his hovercraft and say.. "Welcome to the real world." I just don't know what is going to happen or where tpt is going to lead us.. and it frightens me a little. In order to understand the system it seems that you have to incorporate it into your life somehow… attunement, I believe marc calls it. Very cool but frightening at the same time.

Quote:
(5) do you feel that having the trip is an important part of the TELEPORT experience?
In the beginning I didn't believe this. But ever since I got the trip package I've thought otherwise. As far as I'm concerned right now, there's no way we're going to solve it doing everything the way we've been doing it. We've been pondering over these cards, trying to discern some kind of pattern.. we've been trying to "decode" them. You might call all our work progress, but I'm not so sure anymore. Wouldn't we have figured it out by now? We have some pretty damn intelligent people working at this and we're still not any closer. We stare at scanned pics of the cards on the internet and try to crack them and what do we get? It seems like more puzzles. I look at the cards over the net and I don't see anything but a complex, perhaps unsolvable puzzle. But when I actually hold them.. when I actually have the cards in my hand… it's something very different. I don't know what it is, but like I said above, there is something to them. If you have the trip package, I'm sure you'll agree. If you don't and have ordered it, just wait.. you'll know what I mean.

Marc also made an interesting comment to me the other night. He said that as more people get the trip package, the "energy" is going to increase. He said that this is going to have an "interesting effect" on the whole thing. I'm not sure what that means.. I doubt anyone knows but him and Red Kore. But I'm curious to find out as more and more people get the package.

I talked about this a little bit at unf and RK's own forums:
http://www.redkore.com/tel_forums/viewtopic.php?t=71
http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1303

I think we're definitely taking the wrong approach. We've asked marc a billion times what to do, and he has told us.. we need the package and we need to find our OWN path to the answer. For the most part we've been resisting this.. and I think it's time to stop that. I'm sure the majority of you want to figure this out as bad as I do. If you do, it's time that we start playing on marc's terms. Get the trip package; see what happens. Find your own path.. that's what I'm trying to do. Bite the bullet and give in. You have 30 days to see what you think. But as far as I'm concerned, we've made all the progress we're going to make staring at the cards on the net. It's time we start making real progress and that's not going to happen until we start playing by TELEPORT's rules.

Any thoughts? Does anyone else who owns the trip package want to share their comments? It's important that we start doing this. Marc has even said that this is the best approach to solving the question.

So lets start solving. Get the trip package, play around with it.. go for a walk. And then come back over here and let me and everyone else know what you think.

Happy Hunting.

Not that much magic :)

Dont know if I should do this now or after I "tripped" anyways, figured I might as well do it now and after I'we "tripped" Smile

rk_marc wrote:

Define "trip".
If you mean the package I got them like two hours ago...
If you mean "tripped" I havent had any "trip" yet...

rk_marc wrote:

(2) what were you expecting when you ordered your trip?

Nothing much, I'we said earlier (and I still stand by it); "I payed more then $20 to get nike or levis printed on my t-shirt so..."
Originaly I figured this was a "cool" thing to weare around my neck on the next Tech Noir Smile
But seeing as the lawnyard (was that the word) is a tad to loong I guess I have to give that up :/

rk_marc wrote:

(3) how did you feel when you first opened the package?

Well, to be a bit "mystic" When I open my huge (damnit marc, where did you find that big ass envelope Smile ) envelope I got my kit by just grabbing the first one that came to hand and as I'er orderd 4 kits it was a pretty high 25% chance but still, have to have some mystery Smile
Then when I open things (which was hard as the sleve just fit inside the eletrostatic shielded bag) I didn't realy feel anything.
I mean we are taling about some plastic cards here Smile

rk_marc wrote:

Uhmm, still figure its a pretty decent bargain, I mean $20 isn't that much money really Smile
And I got a bunch of plastic cards, and a nice eletrostatic shielded bag of which you never can have to many (always need one more when you wanna store some RAM or whatever Smile )
And the cards are pretty nice, apart from beeing slightly scrateched.

rk_marc wrote:

Uhmm, well I have yet to assertain what the TELEPORT experience(TM) is so...
But if I will at some point figure it out Ill get back to you on that issue Smile

Hope I havent shatterd to many illusions here, but honestly I didn't feel drawn to them, nothing cought on fire when I open the box, and unfortunetly I dont have a dog to see if he gets freaked by the crads, Ill make sure to try it when my mother (no she is not a dog, but she has two dogs Smile ) pops by on my birthday next week Smile

Anyways Im out for no, gonna go stare off into space whilest holding my cards to see if I popout on mars Smile

This thread has been relatively stagnant, which I find somewhat disappointing as I believe it to be the best route to an "answer" or solution to tpt. However, I attribute the lack of posting to the fact that people are just now getting their trip packages.. as marc says, it's best to give it a week before you start posting, which I believe is a good idea. But please, don't forget to post your responses! Answer marc's question and post any of your own insights.. that might just lead you to something, perhaps a personal understanding.

With that said, i'm curious to find out something.. for those of you that have had the trip package for a couple of days or more, do you find that you have a strange feeling about it all? It's hard to pinpint what I mean. Psionicist and i discussed it briefly in IRC and discovered we both have the same feeling. The only way to describe is that i'm making progress.. that's the feeling.. as if i'm getting somewhere, but I don't know how. It's very odd.. it's almost like some kind of "knowing," although of what I don't know.

Initially, up to about yesterday, looking at the cards would give me this strange and annoying feeling, pulling at the back of my mind.. as if I were missing something important, some obvious connection. I no longer have this feeling; it has been replaced completely by this odd knowing, a knowing that persists throughout the day.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I have also been blessed, as of late, with this rather odd string of good luck. Very good luck, actually, especially in the past two days. Not sure if it's related, but if it is, maybe i'll order some more wafers.. Smile

Any new thoughts? Remember to post only personal insights that you have had.. if it is only a feeling, or a dream, or just a thought you had while daydreaming, post it! It's imperative we get this process going.

(1) how long have you had your trip?

for a week, but i where parted from it for the weekend, so actually more like 4 days.

(2) what were you expecting when you ordered your trip?

Not a clue at all, i'm a curions person and this thing realy appealed to me. As a true believer in science i was kind of sceptic that the cards alone could do anything special, unless they where prepared with something. Maybe is was more of a mental-trip, something that would only happen to the mind.

(3) how did you feel when you first opened the package?

At first, nothing but i came after some minute, this mushy warm "red" feeling. And i get it now whenever i am close to the cards or even more when i put on the lanyard. I dont think that this feeling is something that the card alone produces, more something that my mind and subconsionsness is making me feel because of all i believe/want to believe it is. More like a guide to something that we all are able to do but dont know how.
I read a post by Griffin here on unf under the thread "wrong direction and a new path" where he talked about "the magic" and totemanimals. One idea i have is that teleport is a guide to make us more aware of our self, who we realy are and all that Griffin wrote about is a part of this. Maybe RedKore has cracked the code..

(4) has your attitude towards TELEPORT changed much since you've started exploring your trip?

Yes, wery much. Especially when Marc started to minimilize redkore.com and the way he talked on irc, about us talking the wrong aproach. I hope i'm on a right track now. I wrote here on the forum under "teleport dreams" about a realy strange dream i had, but this hasn't happened again, i do hope it does.. To make some indication that i'm on the way to progress.

(5) do you feel that having the trip is an important part of the TELEPORT experience?

Yes, not in the way that they contain some sort of mechanism or whatever, but having the real cards make it feel more real.

Some other thoughts, the stuff i dont get.. What is the connection to Star Diamond group? Why would such a company be interested in teleport? I cant see that it is for the money.. If everything that has been said by RedKore is true, 2 years of developing and extensive testing, selling this thing for $20 from a minimal webpage to a smal group of people is not very profitable.

Feels almost like some sort of test. Or a millionaire gone crazy.. Or some form of realityshow going on tv and we have no idea about all the cameras in our homes. Or maybe the supercamera inside the cards Rolling Eyes

It begins! (for me, anyway)

I got my trip today, yay!
I'm going to hold off from posting my proper "initial response" until I've played with trip for a bit. More later...

Well, not new but the feeling you are describing is just the one I had in my "Teleport dream". Very very odd.
