Info for new folks
The wikia is not updated

First, welcome to all the new players! Smile Although the Callum Felderi Wikia is a great place to start, it hasn't been updated since April. I really hate to have to be the one to say it, but I would strongly recommend y'all slog through all of the pages of this forum. Important stuff happened after April - in particular, one of our players had an adventure trying to contact Callum in Milton Keynes, and received a packet of papers, a brass rabbit, etc. The public art in Milton Keynes played an important part in that adventure, and a look at the layout, street names, and history of the area is a must, especially after what Callum said in the chat 2 days ago. For example, there is a miniature replica of Stonhenge in the Theatre District of Milton Keynes, which a pagan priest helped to align. Cool

With regards to Callum's latest post about the autumn breeze, I suspect he may have been listening to The Divine Comedy...

Could be a nod to Dante's Divine Comedy, or Anton Chekhov's play, The Three Sisters (wouldn't be the first time a play had been referenced in this ARG). Of note, the band Divine Comedy also has a song called Lucy, which is pulled from a Wordsworth poem.

EDIT: William Blake (author of the Stonehenge/eclipse image on E. Nigma's page) also illustrated Dante's Divine Comedy, including one image called "Lucia carrying Dante in his sleep": http://www.blakearchive.org/exist/blake/archive/copy.xq?copyid=but812.1&java=no.

From Facebook chat today. If someone can snag the pictures posted real quick and put them here, I'd appreciate it. On the way out the door, but I'll be back later if no one can get to it.

The text I received ws an excerpt from wordsworths 'i travelled amoung men'. In the picture ther is shaded out letters and also lines as well, this converted to ninety, this being:
01101000
011001010
1101100
01110
000011011010
00101
This translated to 'helpm' so not sure if anything else needed to be done to it. At the end of the text we have xc0n51l13nc3, which as a word means "especially in science, indepemdant evidence converging together, consilience is also a book as well. On the back of a extract from a boo k about DID AND ptsd, and a study that was done on them. I'll see if I can scan that soon as away for the weekend.
I also received a disc that had 88 - 1 = ? On the disc and in the booklet 88-1=/=87. My first thought was when does 87 not equal 88-1 but I will need to look on the disc when i get home Sunday. Here doesnt look like anything is written on the disc as well. Thanks for listening CyRei

Twain mind thoughts
My random reasearch ramblings

I've been looking at a lot of William Blake's stuff over the last few days, and Dissociative Identity Disorder has cropped up several times, but I haven't said anything because a) I figured it was too obvious and "mundane" and b) I'm not sure how we can go about telling Ormsby that Callum is the one who's "twain" without putting Callum in danger. However, it would appear that I was on the right track, and Callum wants us to go there.

I think Lucy is Callum's other personality. Or vice versa. The 88 website mentions Ms. Lime having designed the 88 star-looking logo thingie, so she must have been corporeal at some point, and maybe she still is, just she & Callum are sharing the same body. Blake's work has a lot of stuff about emanations from one being becoming separate beings - the Zoas - so maybe something like that happened here. Since "Jerusalem" ends with everything being made one again, maybe that's what we're supposed to help make happen.

Or, maybe Lucy's body is in stasis somewhere ("Dollhouse" anyone?), and Lucy managed to slip her consciousness into Callum's mind, but only was able to communicate when he was asleep, then 88 found out about it and were able to block that when we failed in June. I think she's still in there, though.

Anyway, roughly 15 days after the Draconids peak, the Orionids happen, and will be much more visible than the Draconids due to the moon being only in its first quarter at that point. Since the Orion Constellation was once known as the St. Lucy Constellation, and Orion is also known as the Hunter, and the full moon on October 27 is known as the Hunter's Moon, the Travel Moon, or the Blood Moon - depending on what country is doing the viewing - I think Orion/the Orionids might be important. Oh, and Venus & Jupiter conjunct on October 26, and Mars joins their conjunction on October 28, all of which might also mean something here.

Here endeth my brain dump.

A Facebook Log

So I think Callum wants us all to plan a time to be online so we can talk to him at once? Honestly, I'm really out of the loop, but the PM keeps pulling me back in and I should really get caught up, ahaha.

I can do Facebook messaging, but any and all chat programs seem to wig out my computer, including the unfiction one. So, maybe I could be on FB when y'all are chatting, and just get the blow by blow by message or something. Given the time differences, I would think any Saturday or Sunday between 8-11 p.m. Milton Keynes time would be best, but I'm just one person. Smile

a finally hello

Hey there everyone,

Im the guy that recieved the drop the other day and live in Milton Keynes so i can go places if needs be. Here are a couple more photos from the CD that i got with the text.

Im confused by the CD as it has 20 songs all placebo and definatly half of them are from the nothing with out you album, just need to find out the second album. They dont seem to be in order or have any info about the songs.

Also on the website did we find the password box on it? i found one and trying to work out the password as we speak.
#
Also is there anyone else i should add on FB or anywhere else i should look at stuff as ive glanced at the stuff here but my head now hurts. Thanks
Cyrei

Edit 1:
Milton keynes runs along the midsummer meridian, this might possibly be why he keeps mentioning starts and such. I also think we have everything we need to solve stuff, the password is the key (in a manner of speaking) The xc0n51li3nc3 at the end of the text is srecaming out that its something, but what im not sure yet. consilience is also the merging of evidence from two seperate feilds to create one conlusion, especiallay science and humanities, its also a book by E O Wilson and its strap line is the unity on knowledge.

Also a side note, all the talk of stars made me think of a show called haven , Basically the main character would disappear every 27 years into a barn, before audrey came lucy who left her clues to try and break this cycle. Not sure if its a wondering thought or what but with the talk of blood moons and equinoxs it literally jumped out at me.

Edit 2:

Here is a list of the Placebo songs, in order on the disc and album next to them:

1) 36 degrees - placebo track 4
2) Teenage Angst - placebo track 2
3)Nancy boy - placebo track 6
4) Bruise Pristine - placebo track 8
5) Pure Morning - without you im nothing track 1
6)You dont care about us - without you im nothing track 3
7)every me, every you - without you im nothing track 8
8)without you im nothing - without you im nothing track 5
9)taste in men - black market music track 1
10)slave to the wage - black market music track 8
11)special k - black market music track 3
12)Black eyed - black market music track 6
13)the bitter end - sleeping with ghosts track 4
14) this picture - sleeping with ghosts track 3
15)Remember me -sleeping with ghosts track 8
16)english summer rain - sleeping with ghosts track 2
17)protect me from what i want (in french)
1Cool I Do
19) Twenty Years
20)Witout you im nothing (remix)

or you can find these all on the album once more with feeling which is their back catalouge album running 1996 - 2004

CyRei, first you wrote,
Quote:

Would you be willing to elaborate? How did you figure out that xc0n... means "consilience"? I'm still learning how to do this stuff, so your process is not immediately clear to me.

Then you wrote,
Quote:
The xc0n51li3nc3 at the end of the text is srecaming out that its something, but what im not sure yet.
I thought you wrote earlier that xc0n... means consilience, so now you've changed your mind?

Hey there.

I simply translated the word looking for a LEET perspective to get the word, though im sure there would be more numbers in it if it were true LEET. Secondly, i think that xc0n51l13nc3 is something we need to figure out to get a password onto the site that he posted under the constallation. I also had this exchange with him today:

Quote:
Callum Felderi
Good morning Sean - Callum here - wondering how you are and if you've had chance to listen to the album yet? Got a few minutes to talk before work get wind of me again

Sean
Yes I did. An eccelctic collection of songs it was.

Callum Felderi
Good - hopefully you'll udnerstand the reason I sent it to you, with the message as well.
understand*
can't say certain things at moment as, despite in the hidden area, they still respond to certain words, so please, no typing things from the message
thoguh, if you can think more about WHY I chose that in particular passage, and read more...
it'll help
damn - got to go - the monitoring is strict today - will be until the weekend - may not get chancve to talk to people - do pass all of this on
bye for now

seems like we need to look at the whys of things and also be careful what we type into the password thing as i was trying as few things last night, obvious things and i think its flagged up as he said about things being strict today.

Im away from today for the next few but will check in as much as possible, and the text is the one patrick posted for me when i was away the weekend just gone.

much loves, CyRei

the process is "leet" or 1337 (substitution of numbers for letters)
Code:
xc0n51l13nc3

The songs and Lucy
Yet more random thoughts

The Wordsworth text is from his "Lucy" poems, which are readily available for free from Project Gutenberg. For Wordsworth, Lucy was the symbol of his inspiration, not an actual living woman. I think "The Three Sisters" by The Divine Comedy was designed to lead us to their "Liberation" album, which contains "Lucy", a musical amalgamation of the Wordsworth poems of the same name.

As for the Placebo set, what stood out to me - other than the drug-induced hopeless depressive nature of it all - was the "Special K" track, which refers to Ketamine, which induces a dissociative state: http://www.drugfreeworld.org/drugfacts/prescription/ketamine.html

Callum's September 22 post mentions the sun being "battled for", which led me to the Placebo album "Battle for the Sun". I think "Kitty Litter" and "Speaking In Tongues" might mean something here, particularly in light of the fact that Lucy's pet name is/was Kitty.

Here endeth yet another brain dump.

n.igmas text

My thoughts on e.nigmas Newpost, it's not binary (tried it a bit), possibly trying Braille as it has a 64 character thing that was originally also dashes and dots leading to to a possible of Morse code. I'm still away so trying to do amoungst other things in the hotel room.

Pic, good work there. I think we might be on the right track with that. I feel we still are missing a piece of the puzzle as why do we need to go back to Lucy and in light of nigmas return what else will be bought forward. Do we have any head way on the password for the site. Once we get that I think we will ha e more answers. What happened when we last encountered enigma and where did it take us?

Well I'm stuck. Thought the punctuation thing was Morse but had a hard time figuring out which punctuation was relevant. Got as far as the message "As wits on..." and then it stops making any sort of sense.
