Hi I'm new. I found you through r/isthisfrogfractions2. I thought that I'd mention that the address given for Ashby Brewery + Indie Game Studio is on decaytruth.info is actually the Berkley Bowl grocery store.

Some likely irrelevant info based on things I've read in this thread:

  • If you drive from Euclid Ave. to the Berkeley Bowl the route that doesn't get on the interstate takes MacArthur Bvd. to Shattuck Ave. the return trip takes M.L.K. Jr. Way to MacArthur. If you take BART you'll use the Freemont-Richmond line.

  • Damian and Stephen Marley will be appearing at the Bay Area Vibez festival in Oakland this weekend.

I didn't notice anything in the code of decaytruth that stands out. A reverse image search of the background brings up five or six of blogs for Taiwanese teenagers, a comment to an article about Space Jam on Taringa! (the Spanish speaking world's answer to both facebook and Buzzfeed) and one for an adult Taiwanese game programer. I'd link to them, but one of the pages gave me a virus. Anyway, the programmer's page caught my eye because the first post includes VB code for generating the fibonacci sequence.

Is it possible that there could be some beer for sale at this store from the Ashby brewery? There is a post on goombas.org from like 2012 with a picture of a beer bottle with an Ashby label.

Curious that the vid says beer is the only barley, hops, yeast, and water, vs. the website's hops marley malt yeast. (And then he says he likes to add pumpkin, cherry wheat, blueberries.)

There are plenty of related beers that Berkeley Bowl might carry (Old Marley, etc.), but I don't have time to pop over to Berkeley today. Smile

The video is saying that some old German "law" says that those are the only things that should go into making beer, but he was just saying that they don't follow that.

I gave the Oregon St. Berkeley Bowl location a call and asked if they carried any beers from Ashby Brewery and they said that they do not. Hopefully they won't get too many calls about that today. :S

Edit: Interesting note: The hours given on decaytruth.info are not the actual hours of Berkeley Bowl. The store hours are 9:00AM-8:00PM. Ashby says "Daily 9 Am to 9:00 Pm". Note the differing styles of notation. Probably doesn't mean anything though.

Nothing super obvious found in THD 20. Jim says something about wondering how you get barcodes near the end.

I did compile all of the random bits from these YouTube preview thumbnails side by side to see if that revealed anything, but I'm not seeing much. Here's a link anyway. Each "sliver" in the thumbnails are 3 pixels wide, and in this image you're looking at 9, 11, 12, 13, 15, & 20 in order, with 2 pixels of black between each.

Edit: Oh geez, I just realized I quad-posted. My bad. :S

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the bigger thumbnails from?

I did basically the same thing, but I grabbed them from the video page (which were larger than the ones in the next video section) and thus got a different result.

Ah thanks, forget about my previous post then, it doesn't seem like it holds true.

Probably just for fun: the privacy policy is a compilation of the "5 worst privacy policies."

    https://www.sync.com/blog/top-5-worst-privacy-policies-youve-probably-agreed-to/

What this means is there probably aren't good admin password hints buried there.

I'm interested in "Press 'A' to Continue Ale" -- I'm wondering if A is a password. I tried 'marley/A' and some others to no avail.

The About Us page makes it pretty clear that this Charles Foster Ashby fellow is a time traveler. It mentions that he retired at the age of 122, "in spite of his youthful appearance", and also says that he was asked by a young Mark Twain about the secret to his success. Mark Twain was born in 1835, which is 58 years after the founding of the brewery.

Edit: Random side note: Gadsby is Gatsby with the T changed to a D. THD 20 and the About Us page both mention Twain. Change the T to a D in Twain and you get Dwain, which sounds identical to Dwayne when spoken aloud. Dwayne of course being the commanding officer given on http://time-travel.club/accesslevelalpha.php

Not sure what to make of this information, but there it is.
