This page was different before, I know that much. THAC might be messing with us, but they're not particularly known for doing that beyond the occasional in-game red herring, near as I can tell.

No. They have done this before. With marblehorners.com/welcome.

They are reading the threads and seeing that stuff. It was a go daddy default 404 and they probably just changed it to a simple ominous quote. It's probably insignificant

Given the timing of this I'm inclined to believe this was not a planned thing and was done in response to the forum posts here. That being said they could use one of these to convey relevant information so it's always worth looking at.

Yeah, gennerx has a point.

Not to say I know anything about how I'd do in THAC's place, or how they would act under any given circumstances, but it's the kind of thing I'd do in their position if I felt I could get away with it.

I've already said my piece on this on the THAC forums, but just to put it on record here: I think it was an oversight they missed and are trying to correct it in an in-game manner. The page might be made relevant at some point in the future, but for right now I don't believe it has any special meaning.

Given the lack of action with the ARG for a while, I'd say this is probably the next step, actually. Either this or emialing Mr. Scott. The ARG definitely isn't done yet; we just haven't figured out the next step.
