Other than that, I love the Myst reference.

It's IOS only right Sad

I'm pretty sure it's nothing to do with this but it still sounds like a cool game..

so I was snooping around the sources of the pages on the ashby brewery website and found that each page had a 32 character string that I can only assume to be a hash code commented out in the html. Here's the hashes in order from homepage, then the pages corresponding to links going left-> right then top -> bottom.

Code:

d89e2ba550f4f054c3bbf91d5ef73227
a350adc718ea05a8fbd9f58ddf9153be
764e3a08eff6dde4f02e412ad83e34fd

a04e606e407a834d279f855b55d03c8d

tried looking them up but didn't find anything. I don't really know much about cryptography so I don't really know what I'm doing lol

Hey stemberto! Some people on the forums who are pretty good at figuring stuff out (IE -- not me Razz ) have noticed those too--look at page 31 of this thread. Seems like the keys are related to our IP address...but no one has posted much beyond that! Notice anything else? We're trying to figure out what's next!

We solved them already.

It's the letters "abxyz12" (in no particular order) depending on which site you are on and the IP.

Frankly I don't have a clue what we missed because I assume we have.

Currently we have no idea these things are about:

Danger(s)/Sparkes
http://time-travel.club/accesslevelbeta.php
https://clyp.it/o4ovhypu <- sound clip from last podcast
abxyz12 <- letters from ashby brewery

Tell me if I missed anything.

Not sure how much of this will be useful, but it's what I've seen through the forums that we've speculated on that may still have some clues.
Hope this helps with anything we might have missed.

So if FF2 is like Myst... I'VE GOT IT!

This so called "Jim Crawford" has been a plant all along, a cover... FOR JONATHAN BLOW!!

FF2 IS THE WITNESS YOU GUYS!!! Wink

---

I've been running the audio through every filter I can think of in Audition to see if I could squeeze out any more info, but I wasn't able to improve at all on what dangerskew did.

I also did a bit more investigation into the background image of decaytruth. It turns out the background is taken directly from the official archive of the Warner Bros. website for the movie Space Jam (http://www.warnerbros.com/archive/spacejam/movie/jam.htm) (When I went back to the GIS and looked at the names of all the images the Taringa! image was named the same (bg_stars.jpg) and linked directly back to the WB site.) So... Space Jam. Is it a clue or just the first terrible site BG that jumped to mind?

Did anyone actually manage to reproduce the MD5(IP+X) thing? I know I couldn't. If anyone could please clarify what is the exact format of the input to MD5 that's needed to reproduce the results, I would be grateful!

I didn't bother trying to reproduce it but you should be putting your own IP address into a site that encrypts it into an MD5 hash.

Good call whoever connected the Red Pages podcast with the Myst speech in the lasted Train Hot Dog. I wonder if there is anything new hidden in newer Red Page episodes

Hmm... The end of the error read in thd18 is "+61" and the red pages podcast's most recent episode is number 61, released on September 14th, 2015. THD18, according to the RSS feed, was released on "Thursday, September 10, 2015 1:00 AM." Both 61, both around the same time in September. Coincidence? I think not! Wink

I don't have time to listen to the Red Pages podcast episode 61 right now, but I plan on listening to it tomorrow. Both of them being number 61 alone wouldn't be all that suspicious to me, but both being released within 4-5 days of each other as well? I think that warrants some investigation. Smile

The red pages podcast episodes can be found at http://redpagespodcast.com/episodes if you're interested.

EDIT: WHOA! I just scrolled down on that page accidentally, and realized that they talk to Jim in "Episode 55: Frog Fractions 2 is a Yacht" and in "Extrasode 3: Chatting with Jim Crawford" from the Red Pages Podcast! OK, this is definitely related I think. Shocked

On a side note, it seems that Frog Fractions 2 has actually been a yacht all along. :^)

It's gonna turn out that the arg isn't for frog fraction 2 but for Jim re-branding his company to ashly brewery, he bought the yatch for the kickstarter money.

Also, this podcast has worse audio than Jims train hot-dog, how is this possible.

There is morse code and messages at the end of chatting with Jim Craford, I'm not able to decode it right now.

God dammit Jim.

Morse code
Code:
lwo osoutriv deniarpsssenihsum tnarebuxe erimssenihsum tnarebuxeerim ssenihsum tnarebuxe erimssenihsum tnarebuxe eri7senihsum tnarebuxe erim

This is the reversed string, it's a little more than what we had before also I don't know what the seven is about.
Code:
mire exuberant mushines7ire exuberant mushinessmire exuberant mushiness mireexuberant mushinessmire exuberant mushinesssprained virtuoso owl

There is also some speech that I can't transcribe right now because I'm in a resturant.

In the background of the morse code is a quote from I, robot, it's "If you do you hurt so you mustn't" speech which ends with "and herbie screamed."

The rest is more interesting though I think, I can't really hear what he is saying but he is repeating something and there is noise in the background which sounds like it's edited somehow.

Everything starts at 37 minutes in.

Nicely done connecting the Red Pages podcast with this, I would never have thought of it.

Sprained virtuoso owl sounds like a gfycat link. They use AdjectiveAdjectiveAnimal for their filenames, but it didn't work Sad

What we expected here is erimssenihsum (mushiness mire), but the "ms" was replaced with a 7.

7 in morse is --....
m in morse is --
s in morse is ...

So I am going to guess that this is a transcription error. I haven't listened to the audio, so it's possible that the source really does say --..., which means we would need to figure out whether that was on purpose or not.

I checked the gyfcat sources (http://test.gfycat.com/adjectives & http://test.gfycat.com/animals) and Sprained and Virtuous are not in their word lists. Maybe synonyms would be the right answer?

(I tried SorePureOwl, no luck)
