Morse code

This is the reversed string, it's a little more than what we had before also I don't know what the seven is about.
Code:
mire exuberant mushines7ire exuberant mushinessmire exuberant mushiness mireexuberant mushinessmire exuberant mushinesssprained virtuoso owl

There is also some speech that I can't transcribe right now because I'm in a resturant.

In the background of the morse code is a quote from I, robot, it's "If you do you hurt so you mustn't" speech which ends with "and herbie screamed."

The rest is more interesting though I think, I can't really hear what he is saying but he is repeating something and there is noise in the background which sounds like it's edited somehow.

Everything starts at 37 minutes in.

Nicely done connecting the Red Pages podcast with this, I would never have thought of it.

Looks like we missed the Owl part the first time we saw this (Page 21) what does this mean though

I don't remember seeing this mentioned anywhere, but I assume this is a reference to the DK Rap from Donkey Kong 64. The chorus for that song is "DK! Donkey Kong! DK! Donkey Kong is here!" I don't know if it's just supposed to be a joke or if DK64 is somehow relevant, but I would guess that is what this is referring to.

Weird: it looks like http://twinbeard.com/eolo5387.html doesn't redirect to twinbread anymore. Do we know when that happened?

What we expected here is erimssenihsum (mushiness mire), but the "ms" was replaced with a 7.

7 in morse is --....
m in morse is --
s in morse is ...

So I am going to guess that this is a transcription error. I haven't listened to the audio, so it's possible that the source really does say --..., which means we would need to figure out whether that was on purpose or not.

I was thinking the same thing, I cleaned the audio up from background noise and the 7 is now gone.

Could someone else please look into what he is saying in the end.

it's 17 repeats, "at a degree"? atta-degree..?

[edit]

I guess it could be "stop the decay" it would fit thematically but I need a lot of imagination to get it to sound like that.

At the beginning we have

Quote:
were on the plane on february 3rd 19...

Relevant things that happened on that date

1984 – Space Shuttle program: STS-41-B is launched using Space Shuttle Challenger.

1966 – The unmanned Soviet Luna 9 spacecraft makes the first controlled rocket-assisted landing on the Moon.

This is a pretty huge one from that date

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Day_the_Music_Died

So the date would be 59 (maybe pointing us towards Red Pages Podcast #59) and who was on the plane would be Buddy Holly, Richie Valens and the Big Bopper (and the pilot)

I think it's interesting to note that the Red Pages Podcast episode, or rather "Extrasode," that Irregular found all that stuff in, is not available on their website. If you try to download it or play it, see here: http://redpagespodcast.com/listen/chatting-with-jim-crawford, then it will give you an error message "Video can't be played because the file is corrupt," so the only way to listen to it is to get the podcast for free on iTunes. File corruption = decay? Maybe that was Jim trying to point us to that specific episode of the podcast.

Also, good idea, dave.

That would make sense since at the beginning of THD22, we can also hear a woman saying "We're on the plane? OK," right before the "Febuary 3rd, 19-" part. I think you've probably found the right date, dave, given that the accident was a plane accident.

Perhaps 'Up at the creek' 'Up a degree' or maybe 'up at the greek'?
also speeding it up 4x sounds like 'seventy' or '7D'

How is it relevant though?

It does not fit thematically where as the constant rider mail from the 321 area code the space coast and talk of the space shuttle does.

I could be wrong but this is the direction I would be looking

They said the word "plane" and then the date of the most famous plane crash in history.

I'm not trying to tie it in to existing loose ends. Just making an assumption based on the info given
