I Reversed THD 32 (Via Experiment 32 sparkle reverse engineering) and slowed it down by 32% (via jim's tweet on THD32 having 32 bit fidelity) and I got this.
Looks like letters, I'm not sure.

my guess about the ashby login is that it's related to the party lounge, or it's the final login where we solve the game

also about halfway through, he turns the mic off and back on, but the sound quality is different, almost as if he's using a different microphone

I've been having a look at metadata for all the trainhotdogs so far:

id3v2 tag info for thd31.mp3:
COMM (Comments): ()[eng]: "We're in space, and space is the place,"

There's the previously seen image in thd24 with "Looking for Riccardo Zacconi" on it.

10, 16 and 29 all have a genre of "Blues" (which I think is the default genre of 0) and have been saved by Adobe Audition, I think these may be ones where there's some strangeness in the spectrum or other clues edited in.

In THD10 there's that King of Spades again peeking out of the spectrum:

I think it's even got the line coming out of his eye as in this tweet (which Quaxo reminded me of on the discord chat).

Have we seen him anywhere else?

Lots of "king" themes, with the king.com link from "Looking for Riccardo Zacconi" and Jim's connection with kingdomofloathing.com...

There's been some dissection of the quote from THD31's metadata on discord.

"We're in space, and space is the place,"
Began the Champ, pallid utterly;
"The madness is running wild, and so shall you."

Main points are that the quotes "We're in space, and space is the place," and "The madness is running wild" are both from Randy Savage, while the form of the passage itself is from Dante's Inferno Canto IV (as noticed by thall) which has the lines:

"Let us descend now into the blind world,"
Began the Poet, pallid utterly;
"I will be first, and thou shalt second be."

Also in Canto IV is mention of King David, who is rescued from hell:
"Abraham, patriarch, and David, king,
Israel with his father and his children,
And Rachel, for whose sake he did so much,"

King David is also most likely the king represented by the King of Spades (as noticed by "dave is ok"):

Looking closer at the King of Spades card I noticed it's only really got 8 colours used in the edits made to it. Hacked together a quick script to filter those out and got this:

What's most suspicious to me is the shape of the lower right bit of "beard" in the top half.

Also, twin beards.
