The Blog postsers absolutely know about this - I just read a comment on her latest blog post which mentions us *yay*
READ THE BLOGS BEFORE READING MY SPOILERS
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I'm very interested in the letter left for Samantha - more specifically the Capitalised letters:
O N T S H W I A Y E U L E G M P V C F K D W I B
plus possibly (as they are capitalised as beginnings of sentences).
Anagram Genius hasn't found anything that fits, and I have a large headache from work, so won't be trying to figure that out myself.
Cassandra also mentions that what she saw could be prevented - there have been comments in the blogs that touch on the possibility of her having read the leaves before Samantha came over, hence the broken china found by the police.
Also I'm perplexed by ingame companies: "COREtech" - when googled brings up what looks like a particularly REAL LIFE company...
Moderators: Is there the possibility of getting a puzzle section of this particular topic please?
EDIT: added letters to spoiler as per skilletaudio's post

I agree with the suggestion of 'THE INVESTIGATION' as a title for this ARG, that is the title of Sarah's main story blog, so might help when searching as other people might be referring to this as 'the investigation'.

Note: THere shouldnt be any confusion as to whether or not those letters were "supposed ot be capitalized".
Not that sarah says she has capitalized the letters that her grandmother underlined. I doubt she would leave capitalized letters thus when they woudl be confusing.
Secondly: I cant make heads or tails of that freaking anagram, if it is one

Or maybe not. I don't think anagrams are the answer. Although Sarah did send photos, which may provide insight to this...
hm. I only have four.

hi! i am new to this ARG (as it seems to be one), but i am eager to contribute and help poor sarah out.
now, i am not too familiar with blogspot, however on sarah's profile page, under "user stats" 8 outbound links are mentioned. i can not find that many. am i missing something?

i sent an email to sarah today to "get acquainted" and her response included this:
Quote:
I sent out an email earlier, but I'm posting the same info later tonight on my evidence blog-- look for it! Thank you for your kind words.
-Sarah
PS: There are still some friends on my blog who I can't contact, since they do not email me. Would you mind asking everyone to email? I don't know how much longer I can assume my site is safe.
you know what you gotta do now

Hmm...I've been toying a little with the letters, both in the original message and those above the inkblots, and after two days I'm all decoded out. This is no Caesar shift We're going to need more hands on deck, hopefully better at decryption than I.
Now for those inkblots. God knows how we can get a definitive solution to those...

Nice to have more people helping out.
Hunting, Searching, Hiding
I have a feeling we may be called to help one of these three, most likely Hiding, but there is a chance we may be given a choice as who to help. Does anyone have an idea as how to contact one of them without the other 2 finding out? There is no way to post and no email address left behind. But since they may be aware of Sarah's blog, that could be the outlet for contact.
As for the references to ILB, I believe they are merely a tribute (like Durandal's sign on the Pillar of Autumn).
I agree with miss_seph (btw, great job deciphering the code), "The Investigation" is a better name for this.

Cocytus, Hiding mentioned in Soul Search that he needed an outside contact, and so I tried emailing hidingSPLAT hotmail.com from an alternate account just in case. However, I haven't heard anything back, and when I told Sarah about it she wrote back to say that I should be careful not to
(a) spam innocent accounts
(b) get personally entangled with a demented murderer
(c) be traced back to my own account, lest Searching or Hunting hack it and intercept our messages.
So I don't think communication with Gregory is going to be an option at this point.

I can contact anyone who we don't want to to able to trace emails back. I have accounts that bounce over 24 mailservers all over the world before they land in my Inbox. There is NO way they can hack all of those and still know what they are searching for...
Just give me an address and a message...
Over and out.
