Yep, and the only commands I gave were to play nice and don't multipost. Nothing else I said was under the guise of "i'm a mod so I'm going to steer this" A fact I made pretty clear in my post. Welp, after lurking about and seeing if there was anything here, I realized what we were all missing, some humor...

So I will go back to obscurity after this and cross my fingers and watch your theories and dream like the dreamers do.

Just remember to Be sure to drink your Ovaltine in between the rants and of course this could all turn out to be tic tacs in the end!

I don't know enough about Blogspot to look for signs of edits. When were the scenes filmed? When were actors spotted with SwampPop? Anything older than a year ago is hard for me to believe, so why pick a 2013 post to back-edit-revise?

I don't want to investigate these details as an ARG, but now I must be educated about the history of this movie just to stay on top of the rumors. I didn't want to read an old script; I didn't want to learn about early plans for an unrelated movie. I just want to clarify where this stuff comes from, and be able sift out the bogus data.

(edit to answer my own questions)
"Principal photography on the film began on October 20, 2014 in New Orleans, Louisiana."
Therefore, there was no shot of the Eiffel Tower poster or T-shirt back in 2013, meaning that image was indeed retroactively created and uploaded and back-dated. Calling the image '10CloLa.jpg' is also evil manipulation, if the title wasn't even chosen until a few months ago.

Oh my, hopefully I don't have to be a moderator (not following this transmedia thing).

Part of the rules of uF is to "play nice". We can have different opinions. And we have different experiences with ARGs and transmedia and chaotic fiction.

My personal opinion is that this is transmedia, a real company (local brand) taking advantage of product placement gaining national (international) exposure. Not an ARG (which would have a story, puzzles that solving leads to new websites, etc). And I cannot take anything posted on reddit as information/clues/etc...too many trolls and no rules. But that's IMHO. YMMV.

One thing I tried to point out, rather poorly I must say, is that the Wayback machine http://archive.org/web/ shows that Swamp Pop's home page http://drinkswamppop.com/ was updated on or before Jan 10, 2016 with Poptails link. The pages linked from the home page

unfortunately were not crawled for many months before 1/17/2016.
Soooo, maybe all changes were made on or before 1/10/16 or maybe not.

Point 2. Nobody really gives a shit about the point I made above. Not even me.

Point 3. I love me some Swamp Pop Monster! Thank you Jane! I hope you don't mind if I treat him/her/it as a "Thing" from now on. Does he/her/it have a nickname (yet)?

Point 4: If it is "he" I know a couple of dudes that can hook him up.

Yes, you can edit the previous images, or even you can backdate your blog posts. Like, you know, this one:

 		So, sorry guys, I'm going to reference a reddit post, I'm keeping my eye on it because -while it's total chaos over there- they tend to be a bit quicker on things sometimes. So somebody just posted the following theory:

And actually... That's GENIUS. It's ties together everything I said before, about it all being mcguffins and red herrings. We are accurately reproducing all the doubts and fears and tension and mistrust of three strangers trapped in a bunker together. Ever read No Exit? Same deal. It would mean that it is, in a way, an ARG. And we've been playing it the right way all along.
