When xoring the latest AS27 message with the message from December 17th you get "5 5 0 0 1" - entering this into Milford Tape Retrieval System a new tape emerges which is an interactive test of your ability to recognise "abnormal situations". More to follow;

Tape 55001 transcribes as follows;

Quote:
The following tape will test your ability to recognise abnormal situations. Several groups of situations will be presented. In each group you will hear 4 situations described, decide which situations will cause you to revert to abnormal handling. You may chose[sic] 0, 1 or many situations. After each group of situations is read, press the telephone number key corresponding to each abnormal situation followed by the hash key. For example, if the first and fourth scenarios described are abnormal press 14#, if no situations described are abnormal press only hash.

Group 1, scenario 1: You are examining a presumably deserted scene when you notice an uncapped fine marker pen sitting askew on the book shelf.

Scenario 2: When placing a drop you suddenly notice a strong, unmistakable smell of geraniums.

Scenario 3: You are on a sidewalk, a 12mm socket wrench and a broken Robin's egg blue teacup lay on the sidewalk placed along the crack.

Scenario 4: When purchasing a pack of cigarettes, an attendant wearing a hexagonal lapel pin asks whether you'd like to try the Turkish blend instead.

Make your decision now, press hash when you have entered your choices.

Tape 55002 transcribes as follows;

Quote:
Group 2, roadways; scenario 1: It is harvest season and you are driving the A606 between Melton Mowbray and Langham but traffic is diverted onto the B6047 due to an accident involving a combine harvester on Sawgate road.

Scenario 2: You are on interstate 90, less than a mile seperates you from the Michigan - Indiana border. You see a Guernsey Farms dairy truck.

Scenario 3: You are driving the highway between Woomera and Roxby Downs. On the radio the announcer mentions the possibility of rain in the afternoon but says that hail is unlikely.

Scenario 4: While driving the MKAD (МКАД), at kilometre 19 you notice an accident involving a vehicle hauling an EKERÖ armchair made by Ikea.

Make your decision now, press hash when you have entered your choices.

Drop site was searched extensively (in the rain!) with several of us watching & helping via Periscope, but drop wasn't found despite rummaging through & under pretty much every bush and tree in the area.
Drawbars & wife are going to return on Sunday to look again, hopefully "time sensitive" drop will still be relevant!

Mariners Island Park drop found

This morning my wife and I found a black Memorex CD-R in a zip-lock bag in a bush very near to the pin location.

She made two previous attempts without luck but it was possible that she missed it the other times.

I uploaded the .iso to Dropbox and provided the link to a few people. There was a SHOPPING.TXT and 10 video.bin files. We are working on decoding them.

Here is a small album of the drop site, the CD was actually buried in the branches of the bush, not exactly on the pin location but the next bush over.

Also this location was within a few blocks of my office, really the closest public park to my office, where Robby sent me a letter some months ago.
