Good point. At the moment we have rather to do with ARE , not ARG (E is for Experience). We have still neither characters, nor plot. And the cheesy part of this ARE is the geolocal materialism, i.e. the actuall progress have only players, who bought actually the drink. I hope, there will be much more than this, because otherwise it's just shameful capitalism, hehe.

I mean, sure, we've bought at Cloverfield times the hoodies and T-shirts from Slusho (my humbleness including), but it was ingame materialism, the fascinating world of ARG swags, where the fictional reality delivers haptic experience. Here we have to do (at the moment, and I hope, just atm) with some drink company, trying to buy their drinks under the aura of InGameness.

 If anything means anything, it should slap me in the face..
The significance is it..significant?

While it seems like we have a whole lot of meanings here we also have no real leads... there I've said it!! Since we are what, 50+ pages in lets go back and just note some of the obvious things that I think we all notice from the trailer just to recap on what should be in the face clues:

Eiffle tower
On the shirt, water color painting, print framed, puzzle pieces send via swamp pop.

4813
number punched in to juke box- I think were alone now,Tommy James & The Shondells verson https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IkMFLUXTEwM

Price on Swamp pop Shelter supply 4813.00

2016 dir on swamp pop for fallout sheter sign shown as 4.8.13 http://drinkswamppop.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/4.8.13-150x150.png

483
shown to be punched in to juke box ( no ONE around)

550
puzzle pieces shown, if we are watching numbers.

Repeated items and patterns seen:
Puzzles
sunflowers
home sweet home
swamppop
satsuma
liquid o2, fire..

Humid< possible lead, maybe it was just humid..
L'appel du vide< ehh..maybe?
unf. < oopsie or maybe...ehh..

I love me a good game and there is time still so I will be hoping... but you know what i'm thinking (tie in's.... not a hunt)

oh well, c'est la vie!

L'appel du vide = Call of the void

urge to jump off of a high place.

A high place could be the Eiffel tower.

Here is a picture of the (so far) collected puzzle pieces matched up to the picture on the puzzle box, some of them are not perfectly aligned but that is probably due to different camera angles and my questionable photo manipulation skills Razz The numbers on the pieces don't really mean anything they are to just help highlight each piece, and I didn't try to position the sky pieces.

~~~~~ Image was far too big, and broke forum size. Removed embedded image, and added as attachment. ~ Pixie
<edit2> added 6 more pieces delivered to reddit users MNWNM and Clovie2923<edit2>
Couldn't figure out where piece '11' went.
I have two questions. I was interested in your Long-Term Shelter Supply which I understand is out of stock due to supply issues on this coast. I was wondering if I could be made aware when it is available again. I see you bottle in Scranton.
My REAL question, however is: I see you pride yourselves on all natural ingredients. I was wondering is you happen to use this new thing I've heard of called "Seabed's Nectar" which is supposed to be all natural and AMAZING!
Ooohh, good idea! Since the responses we've read so far have contained references to the first movie (i.e., 'supply issues on the eastern seaboard'), a direct question regarding the possible 'seabed nectar' connection should hopefully yield at least another veiled clue for us to follow. Wink
Swamp Pop & puzzle piece clues
So I ordered my own 4 pack of Satsuma Fizz and a t-shirt in hopes of getting the puzzle pieces (last time around during the original Cloverfield ARG I was just starting college and didn't have a way to get any Slusho shirts online so I figured why not this time?). I plan on displaying the bottles and case as a memento to the movie which I am hoping I enjoy as much as I did Cloverfield, if this ARE or ARG or whatever they've done so far is making me this excited again I'm sure it'll be another one of my favorite experiences Very Happy
Down to the nitty gritty though, has anyone who has gotten the puzzle pieces tried them under a black light yet? Another suggestion from this post on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/10cloverfieldlane/comments/428w60/get_the_puzzle_pieces_humid/) was maybe getting them humid a' la the weird deleted tweet Swamp Pop put out before all the orders had arrived.
I'm snowed in on the East Coast so lord only knows when I'll get my order but my first order of business if I get the puzzle pieces is to try both. Also, to anyone that has the LOST box set there is a black light keychain flashlight if you are looking for something to use.
As a few have mentioned here the three actors standing around a "hazmat barrel" however after reading the entire thread no one has really elaborated on this barrel's true identity. Some have said liquid nitrogen that may contain one of the parasites.
I agree with that idea about the barrel containing one of the parasites - in this excellent synopsis of 'clues, compiled' (giant tip 'o the hat to VirtuallyQuinn for posting it - https://sites.google.com/site/midgarddragon/home ), in picture #31 we see what appears to be the infamous 'crotchety crickets' that terrorized NYC on the floor of the ocean, scampering about in the dark depths...
Shocked
Slusho's Mobile Site?
Has anyone tried to get more information regarding Slusho's "new" mobile site?
Slusho.jp says that you can visit them from your phones, but whenever I try to visit the site from my laptop or iPhone it simply loads a Error 404 - Not Found.
I just find it odd, that there is supposedly an extension to a website that has not been updated in a very long time -
the mobile site is:
www.slusho.wap.com
PS: Sorry for creating "double accounts", when I registered the first time I never received the verification email, not even in my spam or junk folder. Once again, sorry.
e-mails
I'm not sure if any of you have done this but I am going through the old ARG and emailing the contacts that I can find from there.
Slusho
Swamp Pop
John Garrettie (Teddy Hansen's CIA Investigator) --- (return of failure email)
Tagruato
TIDO
I'm also tempted to mail a letter to Tagruato's "office" address listed on T.I.D.O.'s site:
18 PALACE PLAZA
36-40-10 MARUNOUCHI
MARUNOUCHI, TOKYO 118-8336
JAPAN
Slusho mobile site doesn't work indeed.
There were once some goodies (http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22909), but no clues actually.
BTW people, great work with puzzle so far (especially the synchronization of tiles and whole picture, LockNLoad!)
Tagruato address was "legit" (same address in whois of tagruato.jp), but AFAIK it was just a bogus.
Was the Atlas Talent Agency that Marlena worked for, was it a real company?
I found an Atlas Talent Agency that is located in NY and CA.
The agency is real. I suppose, an insider gag between co-workers.
Amazing job on the puzzle pieces so far!
My best guess is that #11 goes on the edge toward the bottom left -- it's possible that the box picture doesn't completely match the puzzle edges.
-translating 4.8.13 to alphabet
so I took 4.8.13 and translated to alphabet (ignoring all other numbers this time)
DHM
looking this up I ran into a (seemingly) very phony site and the storytelling reminds me of the Slusho history approach where at moments I'm just like "really?"
Here's the site talking about the chemicals, these guys even go as far to say 'they've only tested this on themselves, rats, and their friends'
I need a sanity check on this
I just emailed them asking if they contain Seabed's Nectar, we shall see.
I agree it is a bit of a sketchy site, but it is a BIG site too. So we'll see.
