Fridge Stuff

FWIW, I zoomed and sharpened a screenshot of the refrigerator and determined that the magnetic letters in the corner are arranged to spell the word "DELTA".

Delta Airlines?
Mississippi delta?
Delta Force?
Delta Dawn?

I got nothing.

Fridge

My attention to the fridge shot is IMMEDIATE!!
The building on the side of the fridge is the Woolworth Building.
That is not usually the building of choice to go on someone's fridge. That is just too coincidental for me.
We all know that was the first building that we are aware of that the LSA brought down. I think I'll take a hard look at this picture. Thanks DougBThree!

EDIT: The picture on the front of the fridge, I'm almost certain is a shot from inside the observation deck of the Statue of Liberty. Maybe a import snapshot from prior to 2008....before "Clovie" decapitated the National landmark?

Delta

From dictionary.com

1.
the fourth letter of the Greek alphabet (Δ, δ).
2.
the consonant sound represented by this letter.
3.
the fourth in a series of items.
4.
anything triangular, like the Greek capital delta (Δ).
5.
Mathematics. an incremental change in a variable, as Δ or δ.
6.
a nearly flat plain of alluvial deposit between diverging branches of the mouth of a river, often, though not necessarily, triangular:
the Nile delta.
7.
(usually initial capital letter) a word used in communications to represent the letter D.

I originally looked up the meaning because of #6, because of the Louisiana setting, but seeing #7 really caught my attention.

Edit: and, umm, this...

noun, Military.
1.
the NATO name for a class of Soviet nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine armed with 16 multi-warhead missiles.

Edit2: I'm seeing lots of triangle references at the definition page.

Interesting details of fridge, thank you DougBThree!

To close the topic about Parisian2, I very suppose, it's just a nice coincidence.
I browsed all upload directories of Wordpress based website of Swamp Pop
http://drinkswamppop.com/wp-content/uploads/
(To admins: preserve the folders with index.html, otherwise people like us can freely roam around your pictures).

I found some other drinks, like Neopolitan
http://drinkswamppop.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/Neopolitan.jpg

The fact they deleted so quickly Parisian2.jpg (but still have 4.8.13.png) sounds for me, like Parisian2 wasn't intended as a hint (other than 4.8.13.png). So they deleted the picture to prevent us to overinterpret things.

Good eye, Ednanight! I think that is the Woolworth Building. It looks like the photo has been trimmed to show only the building. If nothing else, it might be a little Easter Egg reference to the original movie, albeit very obscure. I had a feeling that if the set dresser were going to sneak a few Easter eggs onto the set, the stuff stuck to the fridge would be a likely place.

As for the photo you see as taken inside the SOL, my interpretation of it was that it was of three people's faces standing close together, maybe taking a selfie. It's possible all three are women, but that's stretching the limits of my ability to interpret the few pixels we have to work with.

There is photo of another building below that one, partially obscured by the fridge handle. No idea what that building might be.

There's no way to read any of the text on those papers stuck on the front. Judging by the pattern of the text, I'm assuming they might be recipes, with an ingredient list at the top and instructions below.

Yeah, one hundred percent positive of the Woolworth Building.
SoL Observation deck not so sure but from a certain angle maybe??
It's was the first thing that poped into mind.
http://bashny.net/t/en/139837 last three shots kinda look like it?

Definitely another building.....maybe U.N. building? They all kind of look like postcards you might pick up while traveling or vacationing to N.Y.

Glad your refrigerator post is getting some looks. I think mine was invisible. 😥

Certainly could be.

I also thought of postcards when I looked closely. The other building seems like a fairly plain, boxy, older building with a lighter colored brick exterior. Probably something older than the UN building.

Oh man. Delta. Ughhhhhh... It could mean so many things in this context!

Like... Fraternity? Mississippi Delta? NATO Alphabet? All possiblities!

My brain also goes to the delta... Greek... LAMBDA! Direction because Dan Trachteberg is, I'm pretty sure, personally trolling me at this point.

But seriously I kinda like the Nato Alphabet/potentially former military angle. I'm feeling like maybe Goodman's character is former Air Force. Makes a whole bunch of things (all the pictures of planes, the bunker, the ham radio, the survival skills, the complete time life history of WWII on the bookshelf) make sense. It just fits my idea of who the character is.
